ArcheAge Merging Servers and leads players into a battle for building land
Gamigo announced to close several servers of the MMORPG ArcheAge and to merge their population. This is a new Land Rush, in which the players fight over the few properties.
Why do servers need to be merged? Gamigo announces on the official website of the MMORPG ArcheAge that they have taken a close look at the populations of the servers. This made the team realize that some servers need to be merged. That should increase the population density of the players.
The free-to-play ArcheAge servers will be getting compacted on March 11, with pay-to-play ArcheAge Unchained getting smooshed down a week earlier. ArcheAge Unchained gets even harsher treatment, as 12 servers will become four.

In NA, Kadum and Nui become Dochul.
In the EU, Taris and Ezi become Arkanis.

In NA, Jergant, Stena, and Kaylin become Akmit.
Denistrious, Runert, Tyrenos, and Wynn become Marmas.
In the EU, Belstrom, Crazzian and Tinnerph become Okape.
Gildaron, Halnaak and Alexander become Hieronimus.
Of special note is the fact that land ownership — a major part of both games that players constantly strive to obtain — will be reset when the servers merge. That means another land grab shortly after the newly merged servers open up, which is usually a chaotic and messy affair that leaves nobody — apart from a small number of super-players and/or hackers — happy. Those land rushes are scheduled for March 20 in ArcheAge and March 13 in ArcheAge: Unchained and gamigo has promised it “will be monitoring both servers closely” to ensure that no “land hacks” exploit the process.
On the bright side, all fully built structures will be refunded as kits and players will receive 250 Tax Certificates for each house or farm they own.
When do the moves take place? ArcheAge Unchained will move to March 5th. On March 4th it will no longer be possible to play.
Anyone who plays ArcheAge Free-2-Play will no longer be able to play from March 11th. The move is then planned for March 12th.
ArcheAge Unchained players will be able to search for new land starting March 13th.
