Diablo IV Legendary Items Tier List: Best Gear for Each Class

Diablo IV is a highly anticipated action role-playing game that features a rich and diverse loot system. The legendary items are the most coveted and powerful among the various types of items that players can find, equip and customize. Legendary items are orange-colored gear that has five affixes, including one legendary affix that can modify skills or provide unique effects. Legendary items can also be extracted and imprinted using the Codex of Power mechanic, allowing players to create their builds and combinations. Let’s look at the items from each class.

Barbarian

The barbarian is a melee brute who uses strength, rage, and weapons, and shouts to smash foes. The best items for the barbarian are The Undisputed Champion belt and Fury of the Ancients shoulder (S-tier), Lamentation belt and Immortal King’s Boulder Breaker weapon (A-tier), Blade of the Tribes weapon and Bracers of Destruction (B-tier), and Skull Grasp ring (C-tier). These items enhance skills like Frenzy, Call of the Ancients, Rend, Wrath of the Berserker, Avalanche, Earthquake, Seismic Slam, and Whirlwind.

The Undisputed Champion and Fury of the Ancients are S-tier items for frenzy-based barbarians. They give all frenzy runes and make ancients last until death. Lamentation and Immortal King’s Boulder Breaker are A-tier items for Rend and Wrath of the Berserker. They let Rend stack three times and boost both cooldowns by 400%. Blade of the Tribes and Bracers of Destruction are B-tier items for earth skills: Avalanche, Earthquake, and Seismic Slam. They trigger earth skills with shouts and increase Seismic Slam damage to the first five enemies by 400%. Skull Grasp is a C-tier item for Whirlwind. It increases Whirlwind damage by 300%, but Whirlwind is weak and costly in Diablo IV.

The best items for the druid are Earthshatter mace and Spirit of the Earth chest (S-tier), Band of Might ring and The Eye of the Storm helm (A-tier), Mantle of the Upside-Down Sinners cloak and The Short Man’s Finger ring (B-tier), and Uliana’s Strength gloves (C-tier). Mantle of the Upside-Down Sinners and The Short Man’s Finger is B-tier items for companions. They give Cyclone Armor to companions and summon three wolves with special abilities and 150% more damage. Uliana’s Strength is a C-tier item for Seven-Sided Strike. It increases its damage by 777%, but the skill is weak and unreliable in Diablo IV.

Tal Rasha’s Elements is a mediocre item set that summons Meteors of different elements when using elemental skills. It has an 8-second cooldown for each element and takes up seven-item slots.
