The Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree is just around the corner. So, most of you might already be looking for a suitable Strength and Intelligence build to take down new enemies and bosses. To tackle that, we have here our Elden Ring Best Strength Intelligence Build Guide.
Most of the weapons we are going to discuss here in our Strength and Intelligence Build for Elden Ring 2024, as well as DLC, are going to be based mainly on Strength.
It doesn’t mean that the weapons are not based on Intelligence Attribute, rather it means, the weapons scale better with Strength than they do for Intelligence.
So, the best policy would be to pick the weapon you like, put enough Intelligence points to wield that weapon, find a good break point with Strength, and then invest the extra points into Intelligence.
Most of the builds are around 125 to 150 levels, so we are also going to make this build around that same level range.
We are focusing on 54 Strength because it will give you the utmost damage on two-handed Strength weapons
Now, it is natural that you want the most health when going for any Strength Build, so it should have around 58 to 60 Vigor
Get the minimum Endurance that is required to wield your weapon efficiently
After all of these, you need to go for the Intelligence stat. There aren’t many weapons in Strength Intelligence that scale exceptionally with Intelligence, so increasing damage through this stat isn’t that great.
One thing to mention beforehand is that Frostbite Infusions in builds like these are better than other Infusions, as they allow you to inflict enemies with Frostbite in one strike, rather than going for multiple strikes.
So, when you want to Infuse any Element onto the weapon, our suggestion would be to go for the Frostbite Infusion, rather than anything else.
Also, the Intelligence Scaling and Strength Scaling work wonderfully with the Frostbite Infusion, as they retain the effect, and inflict it quickly.

The best weapon for the Elden Ring Strength Intelligence Build is the Greatsword, and the Frostbite Infused Greatswords are the best in the league.
Then, you can also go for something like:
Knight Swords
Mace
Heavy Glaive
Axe
Fallingstar Beast Jaw
Etc
Don’t forget to update the weapon you have to the maximum level, so that it can effortlessly be used for the Elden Ring DLC - Shadow of the Erdtree, or in the PvP of the game.
Most of the players are already in the range of 150 levels, or some even reached the pinnacle of leveling in Elden Ring so far. So, it becomes essential to focus on the Strength and Intelligence build that can reach the maximum potential.
You can use the special attacks of these weapons like the Gravity Bolt, the Frozen Attacks, or Starcaller Cry to damage weapons in specific elements. That is a plus point of this Strength Intelligence Build, as it allows you to expand your arsenal, adding various weapons with special attacks.
There are a few specific Talisman you would want to equip when following this Elden Ring 2024 Strength Intelligence Build. These are:
Erdtree’s Favor - It will provide most of the stat points that you need to equip most of the Strength-based weapons in this build. You also get extra HP and Endurance with Erdtree’s Favor
Great Jar’s Arsenal (if not Erdtree) - Same as Erdtree’s Favor
Bull Goat’s Talisman - This will enhance the poise damage in the build, but it is also especially useful when you are using the Ash of War on the weapons
Shard of Alexander - Most of the base damage from the weapons is going to come from the Ash of War. So, you are basically enhancing it when using the Shard of Alexander
Now that you have the ultimate Strength and Intelligence Build in Elden Ring in 2024, preparing for the Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree, let’s talk about the gameplay of this build.
It is clear that the build is mainly strength-based, and to crisp up the damage on top, we have the Intelligence factor as well. All the Strength builds have a ton of health and damage.
So, your goal is to tank the hits and in return strike the enemies with deadly blows. On top, you are using the Ash of War or Special Attacks of Weapons to throw the enemies off-guard.
Having versatility, you can just change the weapons around, and attack enemies with different weapons. Whether slow or fast enemies depends on the play style of the foe.
So, this rounds off our Elden Ring Strength Intelligence Build. Keep in mind that this build is versatile, and you can just change the weapons and pick the ones you like. It doesn’t have to be a heavy weapon, rather you can pick anyone you like that has Strength primary scaling and Intelligence secondary scaling. Also, there is no need to go light here, you are mostly putting stats between Strength, Vigor, Endurance, and Intelligence. Tank the attacks, and take out your weapon to attack the enemy in return. Simple as that! On the contrary, you can put the Frost on your Greatsword to get the most out of this build, if you are having trouble changing your weapons around. This way, you can just single-attack enemies, and they will be inflicted with Frost, allowing you to deal extra damage, and slow down their pace. Happy Gaming!
