Elden Ring Highest Damage Dex Weapons - Ranked from Worst to Best!

Dexterity is one of the main Attributes in the game and is considered a deal-breaker for builds. While Strength might be the one specifically for power and attack, Dexterity, on the other hand, is known for having faster attack speed, more damage, and a secondary source besides the main weapon's physical damage. In case you are also one of those fellows looking for the Elden Ring Highest Damage Dex Weapons, we got you covered here. We will be breaking down the Best Dex Weapons ranked from the worst to one with the absolute peak damage stats.

In the latest patch from Elden Ring, which is the 1.09, there’s been a lot of changes around the town, more specifically Poise. Nevertheless, the Dexterity weapons are now much buffed than they are nerfed.

Some of the notable feats are reducing the Poise of Dexterity-based weapons like the heavy swords and the thrusting ones as well. That really affected the whole Poise for nearly all the weapons in the game.

On the other hand, the developers really pushed the stats for some of the major small weapons like the daggers, claws, and fists, along with twin blades and reapers. So, that’s something to keep in mind here as well. Let’s get started with the Best Dexterity Weapons Elden Ring has to offer in its latest patch 1.09.

Zamor Curved Sword

Zamor Curved Sword

The Heavy Hitter on the list is none other than the in-famous Zamor Curved Sword. Some consider it a Strength weapon, but in reality, it is all around based on Dex stat. It was improved way back in the Elden Ring 1.07 patch, buffing the speed of attack and the range of melee. Well, why is it below the list if it’s in the meta?

Even before 1.07, the Zamor Curved Sword was simply trash. Yes, it was a waste of time for players who got it and were using it for the Dexterity Build. After the update, this weapon got a huge buff, but still, the weapon isn’t that great.

Due to the heavyweight, the speed is slower here, which doesn’t seem fit in the realm of Dexterity weapons, because all of these are based on speed, as well as damage. You will steamroll here in the PvP and PvE scenarios, making you vulnerable to attacks.

Scythe

Scythe

How did it end up at the bottom? Well, Scythe was one of the best weapons to exist for dex builds in the game, but because of the new patch, things are looking bad for Scythe. There is nearly no competition here with other weapons.

You just have good health, cause a bit of bleed effect, and can two-hand the weapon to enhance the damage. That’s it! You can talk about the speed of this weapon and the range, but all of that makes sense when you also have good damage by your side.

The weapon is quite boring to use in the game, especially for those looking for something unique or powerful that can help them dominate in PvP scenarios or even PvE ones. No good upgrade options are here as well.

Vulgar Militia Saw

Vulgar Militia Saw

We are ending with the lower part of the list here, talking about Vulgar Militia Saw. The general purpose of this weapon is to burst others. The Albert Musa, the weapon itself is quite unique and has a bleed effect, relevant in both PvP and PvE scenarios.

Well, it might be strong, but not as much in contrast to other Best Dex Weapons Elden Ring has to offer you.

Coil Shield

Coil Shield

Just because of how good the Ash of War here for Coil Shield is, we had to put it here on our list. The Viper Bite can deal one of the deadliest poison damage in the game. Most of the time players try to compare this one with the Scarlet Rot, but there is none.

The Coil Shield Viper Bite has a ton of range and because of this, you can land damaging hits in the PvP scenario without even coming close to enemies. Further, it will put Poison damage to the enemies as well, also being great for some specific poison-based builds.

In the latest patch from Elden Ring, which is 1.09, the Poise damage got a huge buff and that makes this weapon quite good in certain scenarios, especially when we are talking about the damage.

Dragon King Cragblade

Dragon King Cragblade

Another victim of Developer Nerf is a Dex-based weapon known as Dragon King Cragblade. Well, it is one of the coolest ones to exist in the game because of the Ice-Lightning Effect.

The weapon itself is nerfed, but the Ice Lightning Effect got a ton of Buff in the new Elden Ring update. Furthermore, the Dragon King Cragblade might not look like it but it is included in the category of Katanas.

The Poise damage is reduced here because it is a Katana, but still because of its Physical Damage, Frost Build, Lightning Element, and Buff, you can consider it one of the Highest Elden Ring Dex Damage Weapons.

Antspur Rapier

Antspur Rapier

Same story as Estoc and that’s why it deserves recognition. The counterattack damage was taken down in the patch, but the power stance is a blessing for solo players in the Elden Ring matches.

You can put the Antspur Rapier in your offhand, while something else is in your main hand, using a unique combat style. Just like we mentioned before, the story here is the same as Estoc, but there is an added effect here of Scarlet Rot.

You can use the effect to make specific Scarlet Rot-based builds in the game and go great with other damage effects like Poison or you can make it your main weapon and damage dealer as well.

The reason we have it lower to Estoc in our list is because of the overall lower main damage. The Scarlet Rot makes up for that but the physical damage here is lower and we are mentioning the Best Dex Weapons in Elden Ring based on their damage stats.

Estoc

Estoc

Quite a simple weapon to have here, but the Thrust move from the Estoc makes up for everything here. Sometimes you also have to look out for the HitBox in the game because if you can’t hit the enemies, there is no need to brag about that weapon.

Estoc, on the other hand, has a spectacular Hit Box, especially when you are using the Thrust moveset. Most of the time you will be seeing it in Duels or Free for All because of the Thrust. You can stay hidden and poke enemies with the Thrust attack, get back, and then again use the Thrust to damage them.

It is a simple way to play with the Estoc in Elden Ring, but quite a safe and fun one. Another notable feat with this weapon was its counterattack damage, which was now nerfed in the latest Elden Ring update.

Moreover, the weapon itself was taken down from the throne of the top 5 Elden Ring Highest Damage Dexterity Weapons, but still, you can consider it a B tier.

Twinblade

Twinblade

You don’t like to use single-hand weapons? Well, you can enjoy a ton of Dex Damage using the Twinblades here in Elden Ring. Because of the two-handed use, there is no power stance here, meaning you are faster and the recovery is just spectacular.

Twinblades or two-handed Dex Weapon use in particular isn’t that versatile because you have to be the first one to start a war. There is nothing to protect you with, as in both your hands, you have Twinblades.

Amazingly, you can make a really crazy bleed build with the Twinblades because of their Bleed Effect. Having twin blades in your hand that are quite fast, means the Blood Loss will be building up faster than any other weapon in the game.

Well, the Jumping Power Stance is also another powerful attack included here in their arsenal, but make sure you are making it count. All in one, the Twinblades are great for the PvP Scenario, especially when you are running for the Early game to Late game Bleed Build. The running attacks, in particular, are great for trading and you can even use them in the PvE scenario, taking your enhanced DPS by your side.

Fists

Fists

Quite strange to have Fists here in the list of Highest Damage Dexterity Weapons. But, hear us out first. Fists before the 1.09 update in Elden Ring weren’t that good with damage but were considered some of the best Dex weapons to ever exist.

After the 1.09 update, the developers really pumped its damage as well here. The speed is also enhanced to further enhance your attacks. The recovery is also great here which is quite comparable to Scythe.

This makes a ton of difference before and after the 1.09 update. In simple wording, when you use the attacks and land them on the enemies, the Bleed Build just takes a chunk out of the health, quickly building and initializing.

The only drawback with the Fists is that you have to jump right into combat, whether there are multiple enemies or single stronger ones. There is a nearly non-existent range of attack here and you are pretty close to enemies, making you vulnerable.

You will have to spend some runes to get most of the weapons here on the list. For that, you can Buy Cheap Elden Ring Runes and Items from your trusty MMOPixel.com

Bloodhound’s Fang

Bloodhound’s Fang

Initially, Bloodhound’s Fang isn’t a weapon that is put in a list of Elden Ring Highest Damage Dexterity Weapons, but because of the actual potential in the weapon to be buffed, we had to put it here.

A more tilted towards Quality than Dexterity, the Bloodhound’s Fang has a ton of burst in its arsenal, and using its attacks, you start jumping in the frame as well. Before the update rolled out, the game was pretty much the go-to Best Dexterity Weapon for beginners.

After the update that shifted toward those who knew what was their purpose. Using it, you can just run through the PvP combat pretty easily, as well as through the initial PvE combat in Elden Ring as well.

One thing to note is that because of the nature of the Azure, the weapon seems pretty slow, especially when used besides other Best Dex Weapons.

Hand of Malenia

Hand of Malenia

This is a boss weapon that most love to get, but it isn’t meant for early gamers. Got from Malenia - The hardest Optional Boss in Elden Ring, who can be found much later on in the game.

The Ash of War known as Waterfall Dance really makes it one of the deadliest weapons in the game. The only issue is that you have to make it work. In case all the attacks from the Ash of War hit any enemy in the game, no one can stop them from dying.

Because of the incredible hits, you can just buff the AR here. Moreover, a quite fun weapon to use in the game for players who killed Malenia with pride. You can further make it work in the PvP scenario as well or in the Free for Alls.

The only issue with Hand of Malenia is its lower scaling in contrast to the Dexterity-based Katanas. A notable challenger is Uchigatana which has less poise damage but scales much better.

The hand of Malenia, on the other hand, doesn’t bring that poise to the game and players can dodge the attacks pretty easily if they know what’s coming to them. All in one, pretty incredible to use in both the PvP and PvE Scenarios.

Uchigatana

Uchigatana

You might have heard of this one because Uchigatana is referred to as the Best Dexterity Weapon to exist ever. But, when it comes to the ELden Ring Highest Damage Dexterity Weapon, it lists a bit lower than others.

But, the good thing about Uchigatana is that it is a versatile and universal weapon. It has good bleed, high speed, and incredible Ash of War combined with that sweet Special Skill.

Most of the beginner Samurai Builds are revolving around Uchigatana here, but when it comes to late game, the damage really takes a lot of toll on the build. No nerfs for the Katanas here.

Guardian’s Swordspear

Guardian’s Swordspear

Another one of the Best Dex Weapons Elden Ring has to offer in its latest patch. Guardian’s Sword Spear has good damage, but the vertical moves from this weapon are something players usually aim for.

Yes, it also didn’t get that nerfed in the patch, but the High AR for this Dex Weapon is incredible. You can use it both in your single hand, as well as in both hands for a power stance.

In case you don’t like the play style with this one, you can simply change things around here like your stance, the elementals, and everything else as well with the Ash of War known as Phantom Slash.

Bolt of Gransax

Bolt of Gransax

When it comes to thrusting with your Best Dexterity Weapons, there is nothing that beats Bolt of Gransax. This weapon is incredible in all aspects, especially the red lightning that just frustrates enemies.

The range on this weapon is incredible as well, as you attack from out of the sight line and the lightning damage on top of all the goodies is just something to drool over.

While there are other aspects, the weapon itself is known for its poke and thrust damage in the game. In the new patch, this got a bit nerfed and it is somewhat less pleasing, but still, the style of play with it makes up for everything here.

Cross Naginata

Cross Naginata

If this list was made before the update, the Cross Naginata might have been in the top 3 here. But, after the latest patch from the developers, Cross Naginata isn’t that exceptional. It had everything, ranging from speed, and damage to even a longer range. Everything was perfect here, but things weren’t looking that good here.

For the PvP scenario, the weapon is still incredibly good and you can play with it for a longer period there. The reason why we are saying it isn’t good is because of its attack speed and the bleed build, which aren’t good in contrast to what we were getting before.

You can still use thrusting to make up for some things here. Well, the weapon itself after getting nerfed is pretty good and that’s why we mentioned it in our Elden Ring Highest Damage Dex Weapons List.

Claws

Claws

With the Claws, going near the enemies takes new meaning. These are wearables on your hand just like Wolverine and you have to just jump in combat in order to showcase your fighting skills.

There is no space for other wearables like magic or shields here. You are just dependent on your Claws. You might not have any range movement here, but you do have buffed stats like recovery, speed, Poise, and so on.

All of this combined makes the Claws great for those looking for a dangerous route in Dexterity Builds. Go a little further and you can put them in your Dexterity PvP builds as well. Well, who doesn’t like that insane Poise along with speed?

With speed like that, the bosses, as well as powerful enemies are just going down in no time. In a few seconds, you can do multiple hits. Amazingly, you can even use other elementals to take the Claws up a notch.

The Bleed Effect takes less time to build up here, which is another aspect to look after. The bad aspect here is definitely the range, as well as the fact that other enemies need to stand still. In PvP combat it is quite hard to let others stand still here.

Daggers

Daggers

Daggers are quite iconic in nearly all the Souls games, especially the Dark Souls, so it’s something you might be familiar with as well. Daggers are close combat weapons that are based on your Dexterity Stats in the game.

They are quite simple to use here due to their enhanced speed, ability to dual wield, and somewhat close distance of attacks. Even though you have to get really close, you will have exceptional attack speed and better damage than other close-combat Dexterity weapons like claws.

Actually, the Hitbox of Daggers is on another level and because of that, you aren’t missing any attacks which is also a plus point. Same as always, there is a Bleed Buildup here.

Due to the fast attack speed, incredible damage, and Bleed Build, you have an incredible weapon in your hand. The Claws that we are going to mention next are quite similar to Daggers but the reason Daggers take a step up on them is because of higher damage.

Nagakiba

Nagakiba

It is a popular Katana in the game that also got nerfed a bit based on its Poise Stats. There are no worries here based on that because there are other good aspects you can just drool over here.

Simply, it is exactly like the Uchigatana which is one of the Best Dex Weapons in the game. You can basically put it in any build, especially Samurai ones to take it up a notch.

You can even use the Ashes of War with its special and change the affinity afterward to make something that is exactly for you. Because of its large size, it has exceptional range and can poke enemies at range, but the issue here is that it has some weight to it.

Scavenger Curved Sword

Scavenger Curved Sword

If you are looking for a machine gun in Elden Ring, then there is nothing even coming close to the Scavenger Curved Sword. With this spectacular Dexterity-based Weapon, you can just run through enemies quickly.

Butter on top, there is that power stance curved sword, which is even more OP than the basic attacks with this sword. The attack speed goes well with the Bleed Build that provides you with an incredible moveset altogether.

You also don’t have to get too close to the enemies in order to attack them. The medium range on the Scavenger Curved Sword will save you from all the suffering of touching the enemies up close.

Just like everything else, the drawback here is that the Poise damage was reduced here. But still, it is one of the tops of the dexterity list.

Conclusion

Well, that’s in our List of Elden Ring Highest Damage Dex Weapons. Keep in mind that we ranked them from worst to best here. The Nagakiba and Scavenger Curved Greatsword are basically the first place here.

It depends on what you are looking for in the game because these weapons are the Highest Damage and Best Dex Weapons Elden Ring has to offer as of right now. Some things might change in the future because of the patches and the updates.

One more thing to mention is how strong your weapon is in Elden Ring basically is represented by your play style and how you are utilizing things. Even if you have the strongest Dex weapon and you are not sure about the play style, things are going to be messy.

Good players can even take the worst weapons like Zamor or Scythe in the latest patch and turn them into something useful to take down PvP, as well as PvE bosses. In the end, all of this drops down to yourself. Don’t forget to Buy Cheap Elden Ring Runes and Items here at MMOPixel.
