How to get Fluxweed and Venomous Tentacula?

In Hogwarts Legacy, whenever you are looking to get a plant, you will basically have to get its seeds from somewhere in the game. Some assignments give you seeds, while the Professor gives you seeds to plant to grow them.

After you get your hands on the Seeds, you can simply grow the plant, but we will catch up to that later on in our guide.

Venomous Tentacula

The only way to find the plant seed of Venomous Tentacula is by purchasing it. As to where they can be purchased from; two Vendors are selling Plant Seeds in Hogwarts Legacy. The other one that goes by the name of Dogweed and Deathcap is the one that sells Venomous Tentacula.

You can find the shop in the Hogsmeade Area, where you will have to travel towards the far northern side of the area. You got yourself the seeds of Venomous Tentacula. After you get your hands on the Seed of Venomous Tentacula, there will be no need to purchase the seed again because you can grow it yourself.

An interesting thing is that you can also get the complete plant from the shop as well. The complete plant is quite expensive and costs you around 500 Galleons. But our recommendation is to get their seeds and stick with the process of growing them yourself.

Fluxweed

Fluxweed is the same as Venomous Tentacula, as you will have to purchase its seed/stem from the Magic Neep Vendor in the area of Hogsmeade. The price is the same for every seed in the game, while the process of purchasing them is also the same.

After you get the seed, you don’t have to re-purchase it again because you will grow it in the Room of Requirements. We will guide you on How to Grow Fluxweed and Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy below.

As to purchasing the whole plant, you can’t do so in the case of Fluxweed, and the best method to get the whole plant is to re-grow it yourself.

How to Grow Fluxweed and Venomous Tentacula?

Now that you got yourself Fluxweed, as well as Venomous Tentacula. Let’s talk about the process of growing them in Hogwarts Legacy. As every plant in the game is grown in the Room of Requirements, you will also have to get to the Room of Requirements to Grow Fluxweed and Venomous Tentacula.

But before you do that, you will have to get your hands on a Potting Table with Large Pot. Both of them require a Large Pot, which means, you can’t grow them in a Small or a Medium Pot.

Don’t worry there isn’t anything difficult with getting Large Pots in Hogwarts Legacy, rather you can get them from the Vendors, as well as conjure them using the spell you learned from Professor Weasley.

How to get Large Pots for Fluxweed and Venomous Tentacula

Just like we mentioned that you will be needing the Large Pots for both of these Seeds to grow in. Where to get Large Pots from? Well, there is a vendor that goes by the name of Tomes and Scrolls in the area of Hogsmeade. You will find this Vendor on the Southern Side of this area.

There are various items you can get from this shop including most of the items for Room of Requirements and even various outfits. But, we are here to get the Large Pots to Grow Fluxweed and Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy.

Remember, that you will be needing only a single pot for the Seed to grow in, therefore each type requires one pot. After getting your hands on the Large Pot, you will have to go back to your Room of Requirements and there you will have to put the Pot on the Potting Table.

Interact with it and put the Seed inside the Pot. It will take some time to grow these, probably around 15 minutes of your precious time. Let them grow fully till they are harvestable and then you can proceed onwards.

After you Harvest them, it is the moment you will have to do something else and wait for the plants to grow inside.

Final Verdict

Well, that’s How to grow Fluxweed and Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy. The process isn’t that hard when you already know what the requirements are. Keep in mind that you can sometimes get the whole Plant, while other times you will have to get the Seed.

Plants are expensive and we don’t recommend you go for that route, rather we recommend you stick with the seeds, get a Large Pot, and proceed to grow them yourself in the Room of Requirements. Simple as that!
