NBA 2K25 Shooting Guide: Best Jumpshots

NBA 2K25 is a competitive game especially the online versus mode. On the competitive stage, efficient shooting stats can make all the difference. However, making the jump shot is a bit tough with the new settings. So to make the player's life easier, this guide will focus on the tips for better shooting and the best custom jumpshots.

There are a couple of things that can ease the competitive grinding in NBA 2K25. The game, like its predecessors, has in-game currencies that can be used to get various elements. Virtual Currency or VC is an important accessory used to buy shoes, boosts, and more. Similarly, players can buy NBA 2K25 MT and use them in the Auction House. Now, without further ado, let's jump into the guide.

Visit our website MMOPixel to purchase NBA 2K25 MT at the cheapest rate on the web. We offer quick delivery, safe payments, and 24x7 chat support.

NBA 2K25 Shooting Tips

Before we dive into the best jumpshots, let us understand the various tips and tricks that could improve the shooting accuracy of the players.

Rhythm Shooting

Rhythm Shooting is a new way of shooting introduced in NBA 2K25. It makes the shooting mechanism way easier for the players. Unlike shooting with an X or Square button, Rhythm Shooting involves the right stick of the console for shooting. Players have to hold the right stick down and flick it up to release the jump shot. The size of the green window in the shooting bar of rhythm shooting is larger. Rhythm Shooting is also helpful for quick stop and shooting off the dribble. Hence, altogether it is an easier shooting mechanism.

Settings Change

Turning off the shot meter visibility in the Customize HUD settings can provide a larger green window. This setting is available in MyPLAYER and then in Animations. Also, put Shot Feedback on "All Shots" as it helps in understanding the timing.

Regular Controller Settings

Setting the Shot Timing Profile to High-Risk High-Reward in the controller settings provides the biggest green window and removes the white. In this setting, the timing considerably affects the shot outcome. So, great timing will have a higher chance of making the shot. However, there is a higher chance of miss with poor timing.

Boosts

Another method to improve shooting in NBA 2K25 is using boosts. The boosts are available in the Progression menu. Players can go to Get Boosts and buy the Jump Shots 10 pack. This pack is useful in the games as it improves the jump shot ability for 10 days. In addition to this, players can buy the Gatorade Thirst Quencher 10-Pack. It helps improve stamina and increases energy by 20%.

Training

Many players train in the offline court which is not very helpful in online matches. As during the versus games, latency could ruin the well-timed shots. So, players should jump to the online grounds and practice on the city courts. Also, players can go to the Gatorade Training Zone and train there to increase their stamina.
