How to locate the Resources?

You have the tools, you know how and when to use them. But now you have to look for resources for which they are to be used. And that’s exactly what we are going to discuss in this section.  Use the ‘M’ key to open the in-game Map of the New World. Once the map is open locate ‘Resource Locations’ and click on it. Logging

Mining

In New World, you can not only mine for the ores, but also for the gems, stones of alchemy, oil and other precious stones. There are some important gems and stones which are mentioned below.

• Gems - Gems can be used as a slot into gear. These can be found during mining when they are dropped randomly.

• Regular Stones - These stones are used for Stonecutting. These could be harvested at 0 mining skill level. These are easy to locate and can be found almost everywhere.

• Lodestone - These stones are used for Stonecutting. These could be harvested at 75 mining skill levels. These can be tracked at 95 mining skill levels.

Alchemy stones may be found all across the map. They do have a pattern. For example, you'll find more earth nodes near earth mobs and more water nodes near water. These are present in every zone. Now, let’s discuss the Metals which can be used for making armour and weapons:

• Iron – This is Gatherable at 0 Mining skill and can be tracked at a Mining level of 25

• Silver – This is Gatherable at 10 Mining skills and can be tracked at a Mining level of 35

• Oil – This is Gatherable at 20 Mining skills and can be tracked at a Mining level of 45

• Gold – This is Gatherable at 45 Mining skills and can be tracked at a Mining level of 70

• Alchemy Stones – This is Gatherable at 50 Mining skills and can be tracked at a Mining level of 75

• Starmetal – This is Gatherable at 100 Mining skills and can be tracked at a Mining level of 125

• Sandstone – This is Gatherable at 105 Mining skills and can be tracked at a Mining level of 130

• Platinum – This is Gatherable at 110 Mining skills and can be tracked at a Mining level of 135

• Brimstone – This is Gatherable at 130 Mining skills and can be tracked at a Mining level of 160

• Orichalcum – This is Gatherable at 150 Mining skills and can be tracked at a Mining level of 200

Harvesting

Harvesting is all about gathering plants from the lands of the New World. New World has 7 different kinds of harvestable plants.

• Farm Plants – These harvestable plants are Gatherable when you reach level 0 of Harvesting skill and can be tracked at level 20

• Hemp – These harvestable plants are Gatherable when you reach level 0 of Harvesting skill and can be tracked at level 25

• Fungi – These harvestable plants are Gatherable when you reach level 0 of Harvesting skill and these cannot be tracked

• Magical Creatures – These harvestable plants are Gatherable when you reach level 0 of Harvesting skill and can be tracked at level 175

• Wirefiber – These harvestable plants are Gatherable when you reach level 150 of Harvesting skill and can be tracked at level 200

Skinning

After killing an animal, you can skin it using a skinning knife to acquire raw hide and raw flesh. Turkeys may also provide feathers and eggs. Your tracking and skinning level determines your ability to skin various levels of animals. The level of the animal gathered defines the leather tiers. For example, 35+ is tier 4 hide, whereas 50+ is tier 5 hide. The levels at which you may follow the various creatures in the game are listed below:

• Large Prey – 65
