Crossroads of Crime Arena Commander Map: The largest Arena Commander map to date, this battlefield is a high-stakes zone designed for intense combat engagements. It supports multiple game modes, including Free Flight, Tank Royale, Team Elimination, Single Weapon Elimination, Gun Rush, and Kill Collector. Originally built for Theatres of War back in 2019, this map showcases refined elements from that scrapped mode, breathing new life into large-scale battles with a variety of combat scenarios.
Alpha 4.1 brings several new ships and vehicles to Star Citizen, further expanding mining, exploration, and combat options:
Drake Golem: This entry-level mining ship is designed for players looking to break into the mining profession. Smaller and more accessible than larger industrial mining vessels, the Golem provides a solid starting point for gathering resources without the need for a massive crew. Expect it to be an efficient and cost-effective option for those venturing into the verse’s mining economy.
Atlas ATLS GEO: A mining variant of the Atlas exosuit, the ATLS GEO is built for both vehicle-based and first-person (hand) mining. Baby sandworms have begun appearing in select planetary regions, and we might witness Valakaar Sand Worms soon as well.

A brand-new questline focused on exploration and trade introduces the Banu Collector system:

Unlike some previous patches, Alpha 4.1 will not include a full wipe, allowing players to maintain most of their progress. However, a partial reset will impact specific areas:
Refinery jobs, hangar customizations, and consumables may not carry over.
Players can expect more persistent progression, with contested zone rewards and looted items remaining intact after the update.
Tier Zero Item Recovery is also being introduced, meaning players will respawn with their equipped gear instead of losing everything upon death.
