We are currently playing in the Stanton System. But, in the Star Citizen CitizenCon 2954, we got to witness the potential Star Citizen New Star Systems that are releasing on the Star Citizen 1.0 update.
1. The first Star System we are currently playing in is Stanton.
2. The second new Star System is going to be Pyro.
3. The third new Star System is going to be Nyx.
4. The fourth new Star System is going to be Castra.
5. The fifth new Star System is going to be Terra.
These are the four new Star Systems that we will potentially be able to witness in the upcoming Star Citizen 1.0 update.
Also, there are details that Pyro is going to be the center of all the systems here, potentially being the center of the star system.
Squadron42 is a single-player game space within Star Citizen, developed by the devs. It is a separate experience, like a story mode that players can take part in.
The release date of Squadron 42 was mentioned in CitizenCon 2954, which is 2026, two years away from 2024.
But, one thing we have to mention here is that Star Citizen is quite off from their initially depicted date. Yes, the developers do indeed provide the promised features, but the date can be misleading.
In the new CitizenCon, Star Citizen devs showcased a trailer of the new Dynamic Weather, alongside completely new environmental graphics change.
It was because of the Genesis Tech which is their way of defining better graphics in the future, for Star Citizen 1.0 probably.
The new Genesis tech isn’t only limited to weather, forests, and so on. It is an overhaul, providing new dynamic weather, water animation, rain, thunder, movement of trees with wind, storm, sounds, and much more.
When you are walking, running, or simply sitting in the cockpit of your shit, you will have different sounds and angles. This is basically what dynamic weather is all about.
In the CitizenCon, we got a glimpse of a person who looks fairly like Henry Cavill. We know that Henry Cavill is a true gamer by heart, loves to build his own PC, and enjoys the lore of games.
Lately, we saw Henry Cavill in Space Marine 2, and now, we got a glimpse of Henry Cavill appearing in Star Citizen Squadron42.
But, one thing that amazes people is that the trailer was actually 6 years old when the younger version of Henry Cavill was showcased. So, it is carried on from the initial trailer of SQ42.
Here, Henry Cavill is portraying Ryan Enright, who is a member of the 42nd Squadron, appearing in the Battle of VegaII, flying Anvil F8 Lightning.
There was a trailer of a sky city in CitizenCon that players were amazed at. It is Sherman Castra II, the Island in the Sky, which could be land for many players when the update finally launches.
It is a new solar system “Castra Sherman” which accompanies massive mountains indulged in clouds. Part of the new systems that are to be released in 2026 is Star Citizen 1.0, but it could also take many years to develop and release properly.
Valakkar or some people like to call them Sandworms, are gigantic worms in the sand found specifically in the area of Pyro called Monox.
In CitizenCon 2016, we got to witness the first ever Valakaar, but in CitizenCon 2954, we again got to drool over these massive worms found in the sandy regions of Monox.
Not only do we have Sand Worms, but there are going to be other Apex Predators.
With the new Star Citizen update, you can have links to items, locations, and quests embedded in the chat. Previously there was no feature of sharing such information through links.
The linking location is the best so far. We are not sure how they will implement it, but you can either click and then create a route or simply have another method.
This feature is typically found in MMOs, so we can safely say that in Star Citizen 1.0, a ton of QoL (Quality of Life) features are being implemented that could turn Star Citizen into a proper space MMO.
Finally, we are going to discuss a completely new overhaul to how professions work in Star Citizen.
● There is a main story-line
● You have to complete it and get the Citizenship
● In your Star System, you have to select Solar System
● Then through the various guilds like the United Resource Workers Industrial Guild, you can take part in various Star Citizen Professions, or Careers.
● Some of them are Repair Techs, Breakdown Engineers, Salvager, Fuel Gatherer, Miner, Builder, Refiner, and Crafter.
Below, we have an image to help you understand all the professions coming up in Star Citizen 1.0, confirmed in CitizenCon 2954.
● Light change with the character PoV
● New sound effects
● Cinematics
● New Party Finder through MobiGlass allows people to find and help each other in missions
● New BioTech Character-system
● In-game Guides through MobiGlass
● Beacons Rep System
● Org Symbols in Recruitment
● Events Calendar
● Armor Specialization, giving function to armors
● More Apex Predators
● Area 18 Overhaul
● Quality of Resources
● Blueprints
● New Building Mechanics for shops, houses, buildings, and more
● New Vehicles, which we are going to discuss in another guide
So, that’s everything Star Citizen CitizenCon 2954, showcased in October 2024 had to offer. There are some things, or small overhauls that might be missed, but overall all the major features that you can enjoy in Star Citizen 1.0 update two years from now.
As a reminder, there are confirmed four new Star Systems, Squadron42, New Vehicles, Ships, Genesis Weather System, Linking in Chat, Island in the Sky, Professions, Apex Predators like Sand Worms, and much more.
