Fellow citizens of the gaming universe, anyone who is new to Star Citizen 4.1.1 must be wondering why some moons are labeled as hostile in the first place. Well, to be called hostile only means either a moon is environmentally difficult to live on, or it’s a hub of a lot of gangster activities, which again makes it hard to live on. So we can say that any moon that makes life hard to live (regardless of the reason) can be called hostile.
Now that we know what the term ‘hostile’ is all about, we might like to be a bit familiar with the moons in advance. It doesn't matter whether the system of stars is Pyro or Stanton, those moons have registered their existence. For an example we can take Daymar or Clio. Although both of them are in Stanton, the first one belongs to a planet called Crusader while the latter one belongs to Microtech.
From a beginner to a pro, we like to have some information for everybody. Now that we're done with telling you what hostile moons are along with a couple of names, let us move on to the next level and tell you more. The most dangerous moons in terms of survival are Calliope, Ignis, Fairo, and Aberdeen. Aberdeen is the bad guy of Stanton along with Calliope, while the other two are from Pyro. There are many other hostile moons too, but these are supposed to be approached with extreme caution.
Let us take you further and highlight the key points that you need to sustain on these and a few other most hostile moons because knowing is half of accomplishing. Make your moon hopping journey smoother by equipping yourself with enough aUEC.

If Star Citizen 4.1.1 gives you a bad moon like Calliope, it also leaves some room for survival tactics. If you wish to visit this place for travelling purposes, let us tell you it's not only lethal, but a boring one as well.
The environment is so bad you are going to find it hard to even fly. Cold is a small word describing the coldness of Calliope. You can't walk for long, your gears give up, it's hard to explore, and there's nothing much to explore as well. Yeah, the crater pools appear visually nice when the light hits them early in the day, but that's just like having a drop of water in the desert. If that's not enough to annoy you, there are storms that keep coming. It's hard to even take a single breath here.
Novikov is what you need to wear here because it is obvious that you're going to need some kind of gear to protect yourself from the killing cold. So first things first, get a proper gear that saves you from cold. If you listen to us, just don't wander unnecessarily. There is nothing worthwhile to see out there. Second things second, keep an eye on those storms and obviously don't be outside when the storms come because you will not be able to see anything.
Make sure whatever you're driving can land quickly and escape faster because in this weather, you're going to need it. So moral of the story is having enough strength in your thermal equipment and ship, and not going out without necessity.
The Stanton system of stars has got so many hostile moons but Aberdeen tops the charts. The atmosphere is just too hot to live. Dying is just a matter of moments here, so if you are new to Star Citizen 4.1.1, just don't set your foot on this moon. At least that's what we recommend.
First, you can't breathe here. Second, active volcanoes are almost everywhere you go. If you still manage to stay alive, the deadly heat of the atmosphere will kill you. There is so much dust you can hardly see anything here. Aberdeen is truly a traveller's nightmare.
Surviving here takes equipment and talent. If you can confront this moon, you can confront almost anything in Stanton. It's too hot to live. So obviously whatever you wear must be super resistant to the heat. Stay in your suit at all times and don't try to breathe the environmental air. There is dust everywhere along with crazy winds, so have some equipment to show you the way instead of depending on your eyes.
Equip yourself as much as possible with medical accessories and batteries because you will need them for sure. Last but not least, keep eating and drinking because you will have to stay energy efficient every now and then.
Daymar belongs to Stanton. Compared to the other moons in this list, Daymar is relatively easy to survive, so we will not overemphasize this one.
It's almost like exploring a desert except that you can't breathe here. You never know when you might encounter a storm of sand. One can handle the atmosphere, but the key problem is the sand because of which you can't see much. You might get lost, the surface is difficult to get by, and weather might kill you. (Not immediately, but over time.)
There are not many things to take care of. You can survive if you don't take storms and difficult surface for granted. Never roam too far away. Use your ship as a base, and never breathe the environmental air. Equipment preparation should be equivalent to any average hostile moon.
Ignis is a toxic one in Pyro. You will not see any buildings made by humans. Unstable surfacess and corrupt air are no reasons to visit.
Ignis is a home of toxic gases. Actually, there's no one major trait that defines Ignis as dangerous. Instead, it's a whole dynamic mix of bad conditions and hardships we face here that makes gamers call it toxic. You instantly die without proper equipment. If you have no tools to save yourself, the cold kills you. The air is totally unbreathable, and on top of that, the highs and lows of surface rocks make it hard to venture out. Plus there is not a single human built foundation, which also means no help in troubling times.
Fly on something faster and smaller in size because you are going to land it on a rough and tough ground. When the situation is urgent and you need to run away quickly, such ships come in handy. We recommend Pisces as a good choice of ship. Do not depend on any kind of salvage because you’re in Pyro and every help takes time to reach you.
Make sure you have more batteries than usual. Wearing something cold-resistant is one way to do it, but we recommend never staying in such a weather for too long. When you are protected from the cold, it's time to save yourself from the gases, which means you always have to keep an eye on the levels of your oxygen. Going too far away from your ship is dangerous as well.
This is another bad boy of Pyro in Star Citizen 4.1.1 . The atmosphere is not stable here. Structures are falling apart, earthquakes and tsunamis are common occurrences here.
The temper of the environment goes crazy here. Nights are lethally cold, while during the day it's dangerously hot. Leaking suit can kill you here immediately. You'll encounter some weird mix of gases. More lethal than Ignis because the air contains just too many types of gases to describe. Plus the ground is a synonym of hell. All kinds of ups and downs you see around active volcanoes are present by default. There's just too much going on here.
Make sure you have super sealed wear otherwise you're gone. The key problem is being saved from hot and cold both, so all your equipment should fulfill that demand of environment. We recommend you having a wear for both hot and cold atmosphere. That being said, an ideal ship here will be the one that can hold more storage to keep equipments for extremely contrasting weather conditions.
Adaptability is the attribute you need to develop here. Navigational and medical kits are vital to survive. Don't go outside for too long. Keep coming to your ship to neutralize the heat and coldness of your body.
Before you ask us to conclude, we would like to ask you. Do you like a challenge? We are asking this because that's what you need to ask yourself. Challenge is the bottom line of any visitor on hostile moons. If you love challenge, you will love them. If not, you better stay away. Happy gaming, and happy overcoming the challenges of Star Citizen 4.1.1 and its hostile moons.
