Swords of Legends Online is a breathtakingly beautiful MMORPG based on Chinese mythology. Players will be able to switch between 6 different classes and use their unique skills and equipment in adrenaline-pumping encounters against other players and against the AI in challenging dungeons. When not in fast-paced combat players can relax on their own floating island where they can build their own residence and set out a peaceful garden using the huge range of modifications. New MMO Swords of Legends Online is finally here. The game is only available on PC via Epic Games Store, Gameforge, and Steam.
Leveling in Swords of Legends is very linear: You follow the main story that gradually leads you into the various areas in which you can find side quests and other tasks that match your level. In between there are individual phases in which you have to grind a little because your story quest only continues from a certain level. However, the story and the quests are identical for each of the six classes, with the exception of a few special training quests in specially designed areas for the respective class. Apart from that, there is only one area per level area in which you can be on the move.
SOLO relies on an interesting system in which you first have to reach level “Student 36” and then complete an advancement quest. Then you have reached the current maximum level “Student 1”. In China there was already an expansion through which you can reach “Student 36” and in turn get an advancement quest, which then takes you to a new level, which will probably be translated as “Master 1”.
In the Alpha, it took us about 16 hours of play to reach Student 1. Depending on how exactly you read the quest texts and follow the story, leveling will take between 10 and 25 hours.
You need to know Swords of Legends Online Gold is playing an important role in the game. You will naturally gain access to all companions in the game by completing the main storyline. But this guide will pinpoint at exactly what points you will be able to unlock each of the three companions and more. And you can unlock your first companion named Yilang after completing the "Battle in Royal Court IV" quest, where you need to defeat Wuzhao general Wu Yeyu in the Yemo City dungeon, which is your very first game dungeon. Alternatively, you can complete any quest at the Heavenly Ridge Pass area. Once this quest is done, you need to go back to Wucai Village and report about your job. This will unlock the first battle companion.
In order to unlock the second companion, Li Lingshuang you need to reach level 30 and complete the "Zhongnan Foothills" quest in chapter 6. The third companion, Wu Mang, can be unlocked after completing the "Jiangdu: Shanghai Grassland" quest in chapter 9.
