Other than the action features like PvP combat and the story-driven adventure of the game, it also has leisurely activities like exploration, where you can go to different maps and collect all kinds of materials that can be used to create different equipment, items, and furnishings. You could also sell these items to get in-game currencies, or you could take up a profession and be able to craft anything you want. There are seven crafting professions in ESO, namely:
It is a profession that allows you to craft Potions and Poisons, which aid in combat. Alchemists must mix natural reagents with solvents to get the desired potion or poison. The reagents have hidden traits that influence the effect the product will have. Matching traits of different reagents can be stacked to improve their effect quality. When crafting these potions or poisons, it is important to take note of the traits of different reagents as it is possible to cancel out the traits if countering traits are mixed. For example, in poison, as concentrated, the concoction remains as effective as the poison, i.e., the less effect a poison has, the more potent it will be.
Creation:
Formulae:
You can mainly craft weapons and heavy armor in this profession. The farming for blacksmithing raw materials is done in the mines in the mountains in Tamriel. The Blacksmith Stations are marked by anvils found in the city. Finding special crafting motifs to learn new weapon and armor styles and researching traits at the crafting station makes it possible to craft powerful weapons and armors.
Refine:
It is used to refine raw materials as refining ores give you ingots.

Type: Here you can choose the type of item you wish to create. Different professions have different options for the type of item you can create. Blacksmithing has options for weapons and armor in the type of item to be created.
Material: this tab allows you to create items with different levels based on the materials and the amount of that material you use, i.e., as you try and increase the level of the crafted item, the amount of the materials required for the product will also increase. As you use higher quality materials, the CP increases from 60 to 160 in the highest quality materials.
Style: This allows you to add style to the item you are creating. It lets you change your appearance. Other than that, it is only necessary when doing Master Ritz as the Ritz at the time requires specific styles to pass.
Trait: this allows you to add different traits to different equipment. The armor has traits like Sturdy, Impenetrable, Reinforced, Well-fitted, Training, Infused, Invigorating, Divines, and Nirnhoned as the armor traits. Then we have Power, Charged, Precise, Infused, Defending, Training, Sharpened, Decisive, and Nirnhoned for Weapon traits. You can change items' traits later at the Transmutation Station.

This profession deals with crafting Light and Medium armor using materials specific to clothing. The raw materials are taken to the tannin table to refine them. The raw material of this profession includes plants that can be used to make cloth and animals that can be made into leather for further crafting. Clothiers can learn a better skill on the tannin table by finding special crafting books that have new racial styles. Researching clothing traits helps in the creation of higher quality clothing and armors.

Enchanting
This profession allows you to create Glyphs using the runestones. Glyphs can increase the overall power of your character. Different glyphs for armor, jewelry, and weapons are made by combining three types of runes at the Enchanting table. Runes can be worn or wielded as a glyph, and runes can be extracted from glyphs. Glyphs are created by combining Potency, Aspect, and Essence runes. These runes have particular meanings, and deciphering the language of these runes unlocks their magical properties. Potency ascertains the level requirement of the glyph and the strength glyph will have. Essences influence the magical quality a glyph will have. Finally, aspect determines the quality of the resulting glyph. There are five different qualities of Aspect runes:

Transmutation:
Transmutation is one of the many systems in ESO that allows transmuting any item to any trait you have researched previously. Transmutation Crystals are required to perform the Transmutation. Once the trait of an item is transmuted, it can no longer be used for trait research, and once transmuted, the item becomes bound to you and hence can no longer be sold or traded.
If you don't have Clockwork City DLC, you can't access the city's free transmutation station of Brass Fortress. In that case, you can buy your own station from Guild Traders or Rolis Hlaalu, the Mastercraft Mediator, using vouchers and then putting them in your house. You could try going to a friend's house who owns a transmutation station already.
Items that can be transmuted are as follows:
All Light, Medium and Heavy Armors.
All one-handed and two-handed weapons
Monster Masks
Ability altering weapons
Trails sets
Dungeon sets etc.
You can obtain Transmutation Crystal by taking part in various activities in ESO.
