Another month, another set of Crown Store additions in The Elder Scrolls Online. ZeniMax is (unsurprisingly) adding a bunch of Blackwood-themed content in September, and ESO Plus members will also have access to exclusive deals and free items.
The list of new arrivals is staggering, with costume packs, armor sets, furniture, and the return of Gloomspore Crates throughout the month of September. Beyond all the changes to the Crown Store, console players will also finally be able to get their hands on the Waking Flame DLC along with a Bounties of Blackwood event.
Get ready to dive into Wrothgar, Craglorn, and The Imperial City for some timely rewards in The Elder Scrolls Online.
Bethesda is asking us to take up arms in Craglorn, Wrothgar, and the Imperial City with The Elder Scrolls Online's Year One Celebration Event. You can win coffers chock full of motifs and other loot simply by getting into the action in these zones, but daily quests will net you far better rewards.
Meanwhile, there are double loot drops in the Dragonstar and Maelstrom arenas, so now is the perfect time to rush for those specific weapons and armour pieces that you need for your build. Otherwise, you can begin by heading to the Crown Store and nabbing the free quest starter called Sand, Snow, & Blood.
You can take part regardless of whether you have spent money on the DLCs because Craglorn is free, and the Imperial City can be grabbed in the Crown Store for zero crowns - those are the only two areas required for the event tickets, as Craglorn and Wrothgar are interchangeable.
Daily quests will also net double reward boxes while there are increased resource node rewards, bonus loot from all bosses and chests, and bonus Tel Var stones to be had in the Imperial City.

ZeniMax Online will also be holding a Bounties of Blackwood event, although we'll have to wait a bit longer to learn about the details. There's plenty more content to explore this September, and it'll be interesting to see how Waking Flame improves the game's graphics on consoles. ZOS said another wave of graphical enhancements will be brought to Xbox Series X|S and PS5 with the next update – following hot on the heels of the Console Enhanced Edition released earlier this year.
Stay tuned in the coming days for more details about the Bounties of Blackwood event, and keep your eyes glued to the Crown Store for content drops throughout the month of September. There's also the massive Year One Event, which is offering up big rewards for anyone who participates.
