The new life festival begins this week in Elder Scrolls Online

The New Life Festival begins this week as part of the Elder Scrolls Online holiday celebration. The festival kicks off at 10a ET and will run through January 5 at 10a ET. If you want to take part in the festivities, all you have to do is grab the New Life Festival quest in the crown store. Many quests are available to pick up once you initiate the event, so let’s ring in the new year with a ton of holiday-themed rewards.

You can check out the full details of the event right here.

Starting the New Life Festival

To begin, open the Crown Store in your menu. This will point you directly to New Life Herald Breda’s location, at the southern end of Windhelm. If you want, you can also teleport instantly to the festival by using a portal at any Impresario throughout the game.

Breda will give you 10 New Life daily quests to complete in all areas of the world, which you can repeat daily. These quests will be active until January 5. One of these quests, “Old Life Remembrance,” is a brand new event in the New Life Festival tent with Petronius Galenus.

The other quests are listed here:
·Castle Charm Challenge
·Fish Boon Feast
·Lava Foot Stomp
·Mud Ball Merriment
·Signal Fire Sprint
·Snow Bear Plunge
·Stonetooth Bash
·The Trial of Five-Clawed Guile
·War Orphan’s Sojourn

Getting your rewards
Upon finishing one of the New Life Festival daily quests, you’ll be rewarded with a New Life Festival Gift Box. New this year is a Snowball Buddy pet, and the following possible rewards:

·Mementos: Sword-Swallowers’ Blade, Juggler’s Knives, Fire-Breather’s Torches, and Mud Ball Pouch
·Costume: Nordic Bather
·Hat: Colovian Filigreed Hood and Colovian Fur Hood
·Lanterns and lamps for the Signal Fire Sprint
·Draughts of Steal and Escape for the Trail of Five-Clawed Guile

You may also find Charity Writs inside your New Life Festival box. These could be Deep Winter for the Skaal Explorer outfit, or the new Imperial versions, which will help you unlock the Rkinaleft Dwarven Weapon style. If you get 12 or more writs, you’ll unlock the Crystalfrost skin and the Newly Charitable achievement.

Finally, each New Life Festival daily quest you complete will earn you three Event Tickets; Bethesda has confirmed that the Crimson Indrik will be the final evolution for the Indrik, so now is a good time to cash in your tickets.
