WoW Classic SoD Phase 3 Cooking Guide

With the launch of phase 3 in World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery, the level cap is 300, which means that you can reach the maximum potential of your skill in whatever profession you choose. As far as cooking goes, you'll be able to unlock all the recipes. The same also applies to skills like crafting, gathering, etc.

Cooking comes among the three secondary professions that we see in WoW classic SoD. With the help of cooking, you can create many different dishes that help in several activities that have different effects, such as sped-up healing and recovery of resources (that includes mana or energy), and it also helps provide bluffs. Thus, it can help out a player in many ways. As we know, the Season of Discovery is the second season of the World of Warcraft classic, after the Season of Mastery being the first. It is divided into a total of 4 phases, each with maximum character level and cooking skills.

There are different routes one can choose from for levelling up with cooking. We can divide them into two: first, you can level up by collecting meat from the beasts found all across Azeroth. Second, you can level up by using your fishing skill. For example, if you catch fish, you can craft food from it, and you'll gain level for your cooking skills.

As we see with the rest of the professions in WoW classic SoD, the same is followed in the cooking too. You gain a skill point when you carry out any activity, which is colour-coded based on the frequency with which you're gaining a skill point. The frequency also depends on your current skill level. If the recipe you prepare shows the orange colour, then you're always guaranteed to gain a skill point. If the recipe you prepare shows the yellow colour, then you often gain a skill point. If the recipe is green, you rarely gain a skill point. The last is grey; if the recipe appears grey, you never gain a skill point.

In WoW classic SoD phase 3, the maximum character level a player can reach up to is 50. The artisan-level cooking is only open after level 41. We can see a note of the same in the trainer menus for gathering professions. The maximum level for cooking is 300; achieving that will be tough. So we have prepared this sod phase 3 cooking guide to help you in this journey.

WoW Classic SoD Phase 3 Cooking

Artisan Cooking

Phase 3 unlocks artisan cooking, which is unlocked after character level 41 and a cooking skill of 200. There are 2 different types of cooking one can go for, one is journeyman cooking, and the other is apprentice cooking. You can learn either of these from the trainers in the city. Also, there are 2 main centres, except for the above-mentioned, via which one can learn cooking, they are :

  • Alliance training center

  • Horde training center

You have to finish the following quest line after coming through from Dirge Quikcleave, where you have to bring along a few items like 12 × giant eggs which can be found in the drops in the hinterlands, 10 × zesty clam meat which can be fished from the hinterlands, azshara, feralas and tanaris, 20 × alterac swiss which can be found at the vendor shops and innkeepers at Elaine Trias in the storm wind, Innkeeper Pala in the thunder bluff etc. Only after completing these quests you get to practice artisan cooking.

The best way to level cooking in WoW classic SoD is to turn the waylaid supplies into the supply shipment whole making gold from it. The another best way to get gold is for real money from reputed and trusted seller MMOPixel. If you are falling short, get it as soon as possible for hassle-free cooking leveling.

Visit our website MMOPixel to purchase WoW Classic SoD Gold at the cheapest rate on the web. We offer quick delivery, safe payments, and 24x7 chat support.

Learning to cook gold is the best way possible to level cooking in the gameplay. If you are looking to level up in this way then you need to craft the items that are needed to complete the waylaid supplies. To get the raw materials, you should look for them in the auction house. After which, you can craft the material and then sell the material for profit in the auction house again.

To level cooking from 225 to 300, you'll have to follow these steps:

To gain level from 225 to 275: you need to craft monster omelette and tender wolf steak. You can find the recipe for monster omelette at malygen, which is at the talonbranch glade in the felwood (alliance). Or if you fail to buy it from the above-mentioned, you can also buy it from the Himmik, which is at the everlook in the winterspring. To find the tender wolf steak, you can look for it at gadgetzan, tanaris.

To gain level from 275 to 300: you need to craft smoked desert dumpling to level up till 300. You also have to put in a little extra effort and complete a total of 3 quests to obtain the recipe. From the calandrath, which is in the cenarion, you can recieve the quests. The three quests are : firstly, the dessert recipe, after completing it the next quest is sharing the knowledge, the last quest for the recipe is the kitchen assistance. After completing the quests, you have to produce 10× smoked dessert dumplings.

Basic Raw Materials Required

In addition to these, there are also the basic raw materials required for levelling cooking. They are different from the Alliance Training Center and Horde Training Center. For example - the alliance training centre requires 40 × stringy would meat or 40× chunks of boar meat, 35 × bear meat, 10× crawler meat, etc., while the horde training centre requires 50 × bear meat, 35 × dig rat, 50× lion meat, etc. The training centres are usually followed to gain a skill level of 225 and a character level of 40. Post which one doesn't need the training centres as you enter the artisan cooking. The routes mentioned above aren't the only ones that should be followed to achieve the level cap of 300. There are other ways by which one can level up.

Conclusion

This was all about cooking in Phase 3 of World of Warcraft: Classic Season of Discovery. With the help of this guide, you can achieve level 300 in cooking very soon. As always, we will keep coming up with more such guides. Stay tuned!
