The Premise

In this latest expansion, The War Within, the premise of this dungeon is that a band of heroes must stop Lady Ashvane's devious plans to completely take over the area and rule it as she sees fit. She is actively targeting the already worn-out defences of Boralus, and the area is burning down in the process. 

The Bosses

Initially, there will be trash mobs before the main boss for you to tackle in the World of Warcraft: The War Within’s Siege of Boralus Dungeon. Before each main boss, there will be trash mob bossed that might be challenging if you take them lightly. Like before Chopper Redhook, you’ll have to deal with the:

• Scrimshaw Gutter can deliver a lot of damage while using the toothbreaker attack.

Chopper Redhook

This boss will attack you with a Cannon Barrage attack that you must deflect at any cost. On the hook is also one of the attacks, during which you have to move towards the bombs on the ground called Heavy Ordnance, be sure to lure the boss towards it because if you don’t then the boss will tank you with a Boiling Rage attack. After a while, the boss will attack you with an Iron Hook attack, which will give you severe damage. Deflect the slashes from the Irontide cleaver attack. 

Before Dread Captain Lockwood, the trash mobs you’ll get are:

• Riptide Shredder, who is a trash mob that will mostly only pose a threat to your tank attack because of its Singing Steel ability and auto-attacks.

Dread Captain Lockwood Boss

For this boss, avoid being attacked from the front by Clear the Deck attack. Avoid the Mass Bombardment attacks as well. If the monster has an evasive bonus, use Slow or Snare to take it off; if not, she will disengage and cast Gut Shot at any member of your team. Make realistic use of your healing cooldowns. Once Ashvane Deckhands and Ashvane Cannoneer spawn from the Withdraw cast, gather their threat. 

Before Hadal Darkfathom:

• Bilge Rat Demolisher is one of the trash mobs before Hadal Darkfathom. His attack Terrifying Range is extremely dangerous, and you should not come in its range.

   

• Bilge Rat Buccaneer should not be close to you once he casts Goin' Bananas.

   

• Bilge Rat Cutthroat uses Stinky Vomit which is an attack you should stop before it fully manifests.

   

• Bilge Rat Pillager & Ashvane Invader both use attacks like Rotting Wounds, and Stinging Venom respectively and they both are deadly for tanks. 

Hadal Darkfathom

Siege of Boralus Dungeon’s third boss is Hadal Darkfathom. You have to deflect the breakwater attack because, in this one, Pools of brine appear with every cast of Breakwater; and you have to move the boss away from them. Additionally, avoid the approaching tidal surge waves at all costs. When a crashing tide is going to occur, take defensive measures and get away from the ground. 

Viq'Goth

And last but not least in WOW: The War Within, Siege of Boralus dungeon is Viq’Goth. You have to stay out of the water as much as possible to avoid being attacked by the Crushing Embrace attack and keep yourself safe from the Call of the Deep attack puddles on the ground.

The Demolishing Terror attack should always be dealt with before the Gripping Terror one since its Slam strike deals constant damage to the entire group.
