Top levels of cooking can grant you feasts that are pretty much big meals for all the team players in your party that not only replenishes your mana and health to the maximum but also gives you the possibility to gain some unique abilities.

Wrath of the Lich King Cooking - What Has Changed?

There is plenty of differences between the classic World of Warcraft and the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. It sometimes comes to such basic things as cooking. The biggest difference, in the end, is how to gain access to some cooking recipes.

In the case of Wrath of the Lich King, you get those through gaining Dalaran Cooking Awards by doing daily cooking quests. If you gain enough of them, you’ll be awarded a great new recipe!

Also - you get some gold and Dalaran Cooking Awards that you can spend on new cooking recipes. Completing each daily quest gives you 5 gold and 10 silver, the Dalaran Cooking award, Small Spice Bag, and a 150 reputation with Kirin Tor. What is in the Spice Bag? Well, plenty of things CAN be in there, such as:

• Old Spices

• Another Dalaran Cooking Award

Note about Chilled Meat

This one is pretty self-explanatory. Chilled meat is just a basic random drop you get after you kill any animal you’ll find. It’s not as easy to get as it may seem, so remember to preemptively kill all the animals you’ll find on your path so that you will not have any problems with this particular one in the future, as you really can’t farm chilled meat. It sounds terrible, but it is what it is.

Cheese for Glowergold (Alliance) / Cheese for Glowergold (Horde)

The main objective of this task is to combine an empty cheese platter with an Aged Dalaran Limburger from the cheese shop “One More Glass” and six Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses. You can find them in Dalaran just on some tables. You need to bring the Wine and Cheese platter to Ranid Glowergold at the Leatherworkers in the Magus Commerce Exchange.

The Aged Dalaran Limburger can be found in the cheese shop “One More Glass.” You just need to go to the east side, go to Bank of Dalaran and the shop is right next door. You can just snatch it from the table.

After acquiring both items, combine them in your inventory and turn them in at Legendary Leathers at Commerce Exchange.

Convention at the Legerdemain (Alliance) / Convention at the Legerdemain (Horde)

Here it’s more difficult to prepare than in the previous quest. And it involves some cooking which is a bit different than just a “go there, bring this” kind of quest.

Your objective is to prepare and bring 12 Northern Stews and a Jug of Wine from the cheese shop in Dalaran to Arille Azuregaze at the Legerdemain Lounge in Runeweaver Square in Dalaran.

To create Northern Stew, you need Chilled Meat to cook that up. If you need a Jug of Wine, go to the cheese shop once more. Check upstairs if there is a jug to be found. After everything, go to The Legerdemain Lounge to hand in the quest.

Infused Mushroom Meatloaf (Alliance) / Infused Mushroom Meatloaf (Horde)

Your objective is to cook four Infused Mushrooms from the Dalaran sewers with 2 Chilled Meats in your Meatloaf Pan and bring them to Orton Bennet in Curiosities & Moore located in Runeweaver Square in Dalaran.

You can find The Infused Mushrooms in many places in the sewer, so just head out there and find yourself what you need. Get two pieces of Chilled Meat, put them in the Meatloaf Pan and give what came out of you to Orton Bennet who can be found on the second floor of Curiosities & Moore.

Mustard Dogs! (Alliance) / Mustard Dogs! (Horde)

Here you have to fill the Empty Picnic Basket with 4 Rhino Dogs (you’ll have to cook them) and four Wild Mustard you can find in Dalaran on the grass. Then, you have to bring the Picnic Basket to Archmage Pentarus at Krasus’ Landing in Dalaran.

The best place to find Rhino meat is in Borean Thundra.

Sewer Stew (Alliance) / Sewer Stew (Horde)

Here, you’ll have to cook four Crystalsong Carrots from Crystalsong Forest with four Chilled Meat in the Cookpot and bring the Vegetable Stew to the Dalaran sewers Innkeeper Ajay Green.

To get the carrots, you’ll need to use the portal stone in Dalaran in the Crystalsong Forest. You can find this in the east building of Runeweaver Square. After you find those, go ahead and mix them with Chilled Meat in the cookpot on the fire. After you’re done, go to Ajay Green in the sewers, in front of The Violet Citadel.
