How to get to Maximum Level in Elden Ring 2024 Quickly?

Elden Ring, the game of the year 2022, has seen a decline in its player count as two years have passed since its release. But, recently, due to the release date of Elden Ring DLC - Shadow of the Erdtree, players are making a comeback to the spectacular genre, hoarding their skills, and leveling up for the difficulties ahead. Wondering how to get to the maximum level in Elden Ring 2024 Quickly? Well, we might have the right guide you might be looking for.

There are various challenges in the game and each of the challenges has a way around, that makes Elden Ring so compromising in contrast to the other Souls games. You can also level up in the game using different methods.

But, the best methods revolve around staying at the same spot and utilizing the best-known passage to farm runes, which in return enable you to level up in the game. We will guide you through that specific method, and also other early-to-late game methods as well.

Elden Ring Maximum Level, Runes, and Time

Every player once in a while questions what is the maximum level in Elden Ring, and how long would it take oneself to reach it. The maximum level in Elden Ring is 713, and to reach that you need approximately 1.69 Billion Runes.

How long would it take to reach that level and runes? Well, it depends on how you are taking the run. Unlike Dark Souls, the predecessor of Elden Ring, the latter has an open-world area.

Even the starting area, Limgrave, has around 30 bosses, tons of enemies, and items to help you farm runes, leveling up in return.

  1. The tutorial boss Scion gives you 3200 runes

  2. Three spirit and first heroes grave gives you 15k runes

  3. Margit for 12k runes

  4. Ancient Hero and Weeping Peninsula for 5.4k runes

But wait, Weeping Peninsula, and Stormhill aren’t in Limgrave, right? No, it is in Limgrave, as the map suggests, and also the Site of Grace. So, all the way until Margit, everything is included in Limgrave.

So, the guide we will be sharing to reach the maximum level in Elden Ring quickly in 2024 will revolve around the Limgrave area. As, completing this alone, can help you reach the maximum level, which is way easier than completing Elden Ring on your own before the DLC - Shadow of the Erdtree.

Plan for Elden Ring Max Level Run - Early-Game

Creating Character

First and foremost, you have to create a new character. Make sure you are using a strong starting class like Samurai.

Fighting Enemies and Bosses

You have to do as many bosses, and dungeons as you can to earn the runes. Furthermore, you have to take into account certain items as well.

After making your character, start the game and defeat the tutorial boss. Go to the Stranded Graveyard, and beat Soldier of God. A good fight without the boss would give you around 185 runes per minute.

With that being the starting point, let’s jump straight to the guide here.

Elden Ring Maximum Level Quick Run Guide

Crafting Gold Pickled Fowl Foot

When you reach the Limgrave area, the first thing you need to do is get the steed. After you have it, your goal is to get as many Gold Fowl Foot as you can. They are easy to get and you can have unlimited of these by crafting them yourself.

You will be getting 30% extra runes, so that is something that lessens the time and helps you achieve maximum level in Elden Ring 2024 as quickly as possible.

After you have the Fowl Foot, travel to Margit and defeat him. Get the crafting kit, and talk to Melina. Then, rush to Patches and nearly defeat him till he becomes a merchant, giving you Gold Pickled Fowl Foot.

Also, get the Missionary’s Cookbook 2 from Patches as well besides the Fowl Foot. It is required for the Golden Fowl Foot recipe.

Go to the southwest of the Weeping Peninsula, the area on the beach, and on the bay, and you can find structures with crows. Kill these crows to get the Four Toed Fowl Foot, required to complete the recipe of Gold Pickled Fowl Foot.

You can farm for the Four Toed Fowl Foot for some hours here. One more thing: since you are running around, when opening the gates to Limgrave, start picking up Rowa Fruit, as much as you can, which is found in the bushes all around the vicinity, from the starting area.

You can also get the Gold Firefly in Weeping Peninsula. Travel to the Tombsward Site of the Lost Grace, and from there take your ride to the southwest, passing from the Walking Mausoleum.

There will be an open field here, and then go to the two ruins, between the southeast, and you will find a pond. Weak Soldiers are there waiting for you to farm some Gold Firefly.

This will complete the recipe for the Gold Pickled Fowl Foot for you, which makes it easier to level up to maximum quickly in Elden Ring in 2024.

Fighting Bosses and Clearing Dungeons/Areas

You are in the Limgrave area, and you find a ton of bosses here. Stick to the starting class, and gather all the items you have, not using them.

Fight and defeat all the bosses in the area, and also hold onto the items so you can sell them later on. Clear areas and dungeons, and also kill the NPCs that come your way.

You can kill the knight on top of the tower to get the Banished Knight’s Halberd +8, which makes the run easier. Using the Gold Pickled Fowl Foot, you can get around 100k runes in a few hours. You will be on level 50 as well here.

Best Farming Location in Limgrave

Best Farming Location in Limgrave - Giants

There are other methods to get a farm, but the best one in Limgrave is the one where you find the Giants in Stormhill. You do need a +8 Halberd to kill them effectively, which we mentioned here in our guide on how to get.

Sneak on one of the giants, and do two fully charged heavy attacks/thrusts. When he falls, you can go to the face and start attacking to deal extra damage.

There are 5 giants, and each one can give you 1300 runes, making a total of 6.5k Elden Ring runes in under 2 minutes. So, you can start farming the location for 6.5k runes in 2 minutes.

If you are in the early-game area, and you want to reach the maximum level, it would take you around a year to reach the maximum level. But, you can take advantage of Limgrave, and move onto the late-game XP farming locations as well.

Best Farm Location in Elden Ring to Reach Maximum Level

Albinauric Farm Location

Albinauric Farm Location - Best Level/XP Farm in Elden Ring to Reach Maximum Level

The best level farming location in Elden Ring is the Albinauric area. Go to the Moghwyn Palace, and approach the Ledge Road Site of the Grace. You do have to go through the storyline of Advanced White Mask Varre.

At the end, you will get the Pureblood Knight’s Medal, teleporting you to the Moghwyn. Here, you will come across the Sleeping Albineuric. There are tons of those, which you can defeat and farm to gain exceptional levels.

Farum Azula Backstab Fishing

Farum Azula Backstab Fishing - Best Elden Ring Late Game Farm to Reach Maximum Level

Quite an easy spot to miss because of the enemies that are roaming the area. You have to defeat the Godskin Duo and then proceed to Malekith. From there, you can go back to the Godskin Boss Room, where the real XP farm begins, helping you reach the maximum level in the Elden Ring quickly.

Shift yourself to the doorway, while you are facing the outside area. There is a knight close to the edge of the vicinity. You can sneak up behind him and go for a backstab.

Your job is to push the knight off the cliff. Go back to the Site of Grace, and you will get the runes. Doing this again and again will give you 100k runes in only minutes.

Conclusion

Reaching the maximum level in the Elden Ring is not easy, and it is not quick. The maximum achievable level in Elden Ring is 713, where the attributes get capped at 99 points. You can follow our guide on how to get the maximum level in the Elden Ring in 2024 quickly. We have a Limgrave area farming which is for early to mid-game, and once you reach the mid-game, you have to follow the two other best methods to Farm XP and Level in Elden Ring.
