Getting started, the first thing you need to get in this build is the Carian Grandeus. It is a magic spell that allows you to conjure a weapon and has three stages of charge attack.

In the first stage, it is small, and in the third stage, it becomes a greatsword that unleashes its magic on long-range, damaging enemies hit by it.

Each charge also adds more poise to the increasing damage but also takes more stamina from you alongside FP.

1. Charge 1 - 20 Poise and 30 Stamina

2. Charge 2 - 30 Poise and 40 Stamina

3. Charge 3 - 45 Poise and 60 Stamina

It doesn’t matter which weapon is used to conjure the Carian Grandeur, you can just use it with a dagger or a greatsword, whichever suits you best.

It is a projection-type Ash of War, meaning you won’t have to make contact when using the magic Ash of War. You can even use it at a distance, where it shouldn’t connect with the enemies physically.

Besides this, the only thing that counts is the weapon level here. Meaning, how much Intelligence you have and what affinity you are using for your weapon.

For example, a weapon with magic affinity will project more damage from Carian than a weapon with cold affinity. The reason is that the magic affinity scales better with Intelligence than that of other affinities.
