Blood Dragon Build Guide- Weapons
There aren’t any specific weapons for this build, but make sure to get something quick. While most builds are related to the single weapon in hand, the Blood Dragon build focuses on two weapons, you might ask, why two weapons? Well, being an evolution of Bleed Builds in Elden Ring, this build requires you to complete the bleed effect quickly. Getting two quick weapons in hand makes this effortless.
In our opinion, the curved swords (Simitars) play a good role in fulfilling the requirements for Blood Dragon Build.
Blood Dragon Build Guide- Ash of War
You will need the Ash of War: Bloody Slash here and then afterward duplicate it. There is an item by name of Lost Ashes of War gained from a Merchant from the southwest part of the Weeping Peninsula. For this build you require two Talisman; one is the Blessed Dew Talisman and the other is the Winged Sword Insignia. The reason for using the Blessed dew talisman is purely related to the Ask of War. When using the Bloody Slash, you take some damage and the talisman heals you in return.
On the other hand, the Winged Sword Insignia increases the attack power of your weapons with each attack. Yes, both of your weapons get affected and have increased power, which is great for this build. There is a threshold and when you achieve it, the enemy gets incredible damage from your side.

Being a bleed Dragon build, your main focus will be on two spells. The Dragon Claw and the Rotten Breath. Both these breaths are related to Dragon and the seal will surely enhance them. You need to kill two dragons to acquire them. One is present at the beginning of the game while the other is Glintstone Dragon Smarag. Kill them to acquire these two incredible skills for this Level 50 Build. Dragon Claw is acquired by Dragon while for the other spell you will have to exchange to get it.
Blood Dragon Build Guide- Attributes
When it comes to the Blood Dragon build you need to focus most on Arcane and the other important thing to note here is that other stats also require your attention. Like, you are into close combat and require vigor, using spells and quick attacks require Endurance, Faith for spells, and so on. Therefore, you need to focus on secondary attributes as well
Arcane needs to be around 33 and vigor somewhere around 17 to 20
Your Endurance, Faith, Dexterity, and Mind need to be around 17, 17, 16, and 15.
Strength doesn’t matter that much here, so you can let it rest on 10 while pumping Intelligence to 13 and 15.
Playstyle for Elden Ring Blood Dragon Build
This build mainly works on a few things; your bleed status buildup by weapons, your defense against enemies, and then your Dragon Spells. Your goal is to attack enemies with your weapons to deal bleed status effects on them. The damage is devastating and can kill any enemy instantaneously, providing you use smithing to enhance your weapons occasionally.
If there are bosses that don’t let you finish your bleed status effect on enemies, you can use the Bloody Slash and dodge to deal damage while also remaining in the safe zone. It is a Level 50 Build, so Bloody Slash is going to deal incredible damage to enemies as well. As you are pumping the Arcane in this build, it also increases your Bloody Slash to some extent.
Now, let’s talk about the spells that make this build so stylish and incredible. The Dragon Claw spell is all about that poise and tanks about everything that comes in the way. It also has a great range and comes with a quick second swipe. For the enemies with better defense or shield, the Dragon Claw works like a charm.
Lastly, the Rotten Breath is too OP for this game. It has a greater range, comes with incredible damage, puts enemies down (even bosses) and you can use it again without worrying about the delay. It is simply a perfect spell that devastates every enemy in the way.
