How to Grow Every Plant in Hogwarts Legacy?

Just like we mentioned before, you can do this to earn the Trophy of “Put Down Roots” in Hogwarts Legacy. Let’s take a look at the details on Growing Plants now.

Step 1 - The Herbology Class

The first thing you have to do is to complete your Herbology Class in the world of Hogwarts. In this class, you will learn about the basics of Growing Plants like Cultivating them, Seed Gathering, and even Fertilizers. Furthermore, to grow them, you will have to use the Potting Table, which the game gives you early access to through these Herbology Classes.

Step 2- The Room of Requirements

You can’t even run out for the Trophy in the game when you don’t have the Room of Requirement unlocked. You can only hunt it after you get the Room of Requirements in the game because in this place you can put down the Potting Table and Grow Plants. It basically means that you won’t be able to Grow any plant in the game without having the Room of Requirements Unlocked.

Step 3 - Unlocking and Growing Plants

Getting Seeds and Fertilizers

Just like we mentioned before, you need to get Seeds first and then grow the Plants in the Potting Tables. In the massive world of Hogwarts, you will find a special area known as Hogsmeade. Most of the Best Vendors are available in this area, but you need to know about only two Shops when talking about Plants. These are “The Magic Neep” and “Dogweed and Deathcap”.

You need to have enough Gold in your pockets to buy the seeds from these shops because they are kind of expensive, even for a game. Go to these Shops in the area of Hogsmeade and you can buy Seeds for a total of Seven Plants, excluding only one.

Yes, that plant is none other than Dittany that you can plant as a Main Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. Leaving it in the Green House will enable you to get it, while others can be bought from the store for Gold Coins. That makes all 8 Plants in the game.

Growing Plants in Potting Tables

You got all the Plants with you, but how to Grow them? To Grow Plants in Hogwarts Legacy, you will have to get the Potting Table set up in the Room of Requirements, that’s why it is so important to have in order to get the “Put Down Roots” Trophy in Hogwarts Legacy.

There are three types of Pots for your Potting Table;

  • Small Pot

  • Medium Pot

  • Large Pot

You will have to get the appropriate Pot for the plant to grow in. Amazingly, the game will give you Four Plants to grow in the Small Pots, so that you don’t have to run for those.

When coming to the rest of the Plants, which are four Big Plants in the game, you will have to get the Medium or the Large Pot. The two of them require Medium Pot, so you should get the Potting Table with Two Medium Pots. The remaining two of them require a Large Pot, so you should get the Potting Table with Two Large Pots or 1+1 Large Pots individually.

Where to get the Medium and Large Pots? Well, you have to again travel towards Hogsmeade Area and there you will find a Shop that goes by the name of Tomes and Scrolls. These Legends are selling most of the stuff you require in the game including Potting Tables with Middle and Big Pots.

That makes up the things you will be needing. After you have all of them, let’s talk about How to Grow Plants in Hogwarts Legacy to get the “Put Down Roots” trophy in the game.

Take all of this, including Seeds and Potting Tables, you unjustly have to go towards the Room of Requirements and set up the table. You will have to use the Conjuring Spell to do so. You will have a total of Three Small, Two Middle, and Two Large Pots with you to get Hogwarts Legacy “Put Down Roots” Trophy.

After setting up all of those, you just have to go towards those Tables and plant the Seeds on them. Make sure you are putting the right seeds in the right pot. To speed things up, you will have to use Fertilizers.

In case you don’t want to use the Fertilizers, the time it will take for the Large Plants in the Large Pots to grow is around 12 minutes. While, for the Small Plants in the Small Pots, the time it will take is around 10 minutes. You can pass the time, doing some other activity and after a total of 12 minutes, you will Grow Every Plant in Hogwarts Legacy after unlocking it. There you have it, the Put Down Roots Trophy is yours!

Final Verdict

Well, that’s all in our Hogwarts Legacy Put Down Roots Trophy Guide. You just have to complete some Quests in Hogwarts Legacy in order to unlock Room of Requirements, as well as Herbology. Then you can learn How to Grow Every Plant in Hogwarts Legacy to put the seeds you bought from shops and grow them in the appropriate Potting Table available in the Room of Requirements.
