What is a Rename Card?
Rename Card allows you to rename your Name in COD Mobile. Every single time a name change requires a single Rename Card. You need to purchase this Card first to change your name.
In Cod Mobile, you can change your name once after every 7 days. So, make sure to write the correct spelling of the Name.
Rename Card Cost?
Yes, you need to purchase a Rename Card with either CP or Credit. CP are In-game purchases that are paid and Credit are In-game rewards that are free.
200 CP (Paid) = 1x Rename Card.
1000 Credit (Free) = 1x Rename Card.
It's better to purchase a Rename Card with Credits instead of CP because you can earn them from In-game rewards, while CP needs to Purchase.
How to Change Name in COD Mobile:
You need to follow these two steps to change your name in COD Mobile:
Step #1: Buy Rename Card:
- Open the Game lobby screen.
- Navigate STORE from the bottom left corner.
- Choose ITEM from the last of the sidebar.
- Tap Rename Card.
- Choose BUY.
- Tap the Credit (C) option.
- Tap the 1000 Credit button to buy.
On the buying screen, you can tap + to increase the Rename cards quantity or how much you want. i.e. 1x Rename Card = 1 Time Name Change.
Step #2: Rename your Name:
- Open the Game lobby screen.
- Tap the Profile section from the top left corner.
- Go to BASIC.
- Tap the Edit icon just after your name.
- Write the Name (Up to 14 Characters).
- Tap CHANGE.
It will immediately reflect your name towards leaderboards, clan dashboards, and other areas of the game.

How to Send Rename Card to Friend:
Fortunately, COD Mobile allows you to send a Rename Card to your friends via 200 CP / Card. There is no option to send a Rename Card via free Credits.
- Open the Game lobby screen.
- Navigate STORE from the bottom left corner.
- Choose ITEM from the last of the sidebar.
- Tap Rename Card.
- Choose BUY.
- Tap the SEND option.
- Search for your Friend and Tap SEND. Make sure, it costs your 200 CP / Card, there is no Option to send a Rename Card with Credits.
You and your friends are only eligible to send/claim a Rename Card if the Level of both is 6 or above.
How to Ask for a Rename Card from Your Friend:
Fortunately, you can even request a Rename Card from your COD Mobile Friends. But, your friends need to pay CP from their accounts to send you Rename Card:
- Open the Game lobby screen.
- Navigate STORE from the bottom left corner.
- Choose ITEM from the last of the sidebar.
- Tap Rename Card.
- Choose BUY.
- Tap the ASK option.
- Search for your Friend and Tap ASK. Make sure that your friend costs 200 CP / Card, there is no Option for your friend to send rename card with free Credits.
You and your friends are only eligible to ask/send a Rename Card if the Level of both is 6 or above.
