How To Turn Off "Auto Fire" in COD Mobile

Auto Fire in COD Mobile is a useful setting for beginners and those who want to auto-fire when they aim at an enemy. But, personally, Auto Fire is not a Good Option for playing COD Mobile. As it does not immediately fire the enemy when you aim your gun sight on it. In this article, I am telling you how to turn off auto fire in COD Mobile.

What is Auto Fire:

In Call of Duty Mobile, Auto Fire is a setting which is used to fire the bullet automatically from your gun when you point the crosshairs at an enemy. In auto fire, you don’t need to press the Shoot button to kill the enemies.

It works on all Guns and those which are equipped with Scope.

The Auto Fire reduces your gaming skills and has less accuracy. When we feel the drawbacks of Auto Fire in COD Mobile, we want to disable it.

How To Turn Off Auto Fire In COD Mobile:

To Turn off Auto Fire in Call Of Duty Mobile, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Lobby Screen of your Game.

  2. Tap the Settings gear icon.

  3. Inside “CONTROLS” option, Select “ADVANCED MODE”.

ADVANCED MODE is Selected in Call Of Duty Mobile

You will two SHOOTING MODE:

  1. 1-tap ADS: It converts the default shoot button to 1-tap ADS. When you press the Shoot button, it opens the scope and then starts firing.

  2. HIP FIRE: It converts the default shoot button to Hip Fire. When you press the Shoot button, it starts firing without opening the scope. But, you can manually open the Scope with its dedicated button.

There is a CUSTOM option which allows you to set a custom layout. From here, you can change the Shoot Button, Reload, Grenades, and other In-games button positions. You can even adjust the size and opacity of the button.

I recommend you can use these CUSTOM SETTINGS, which I also use.

Should I Disable Auto Fire in COD Mobile:

Yes, I recommend you to avoid using Auto Fire. You will not get full gaming fun if you are using Auto Fire. This is also Less Accurate, and it reduces your gaming skills.

Here are the advantages of disabling Auto Fire in COD Mobile:

  1. Better Game Control: After disabling Auto Fire, you will get full game control on your hands. You will need to press the shoot button when the enemy comes around you. I probably say that your hand control of pressing the firing button is better than its auto fire.

  2. Improve Gaming Skills: When the full game control comes into your hand, then you practice it. It will increase your gaming skills. I started playing this game in 2019 as a newbie. After many matches and gaming, I achieved 15+ Nukes in Ranked Matches.

  3. Versatility in Different Scenarios: Depending on the enemy's range, you can shoot a single fire, burst fire, and full auto fire from the gun. This will also make you a professional COD Mobile Player.

With its Several Benefits of disabling Auto Fire in COD Mobile, I probably say that the professionals have full control of their game.

How To Turn On Auto Fire In COD Mobile after disabling:

To Turn on Auto Fire in COD Mobile, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Lobby Screen of your Game.

  2. Tap the Settings gear icon.

  3. Inside “CONTROLS” option, Select “SIMPLE MODE”.

How to Practice Manual Fire in COD Mobile:

If you have decided to play COD Mobile with “ADVANCED MODE”, manual fire, you will need to practice with it.

However, as you play the game, your skills on Manual Fire will increase.

There are some tips you can follow to practice manual fire in COD Mobile:

  1. Use 4-Fingers Claw: I recommend you customize your layout and convert it into the Claw, which means 4-fingers gameplay. Most professional gamers use their claws, including me. In claw, you will use your Thumb and Index finger of both hands, which allows you to operate the buttons fast.

  2. Play Multiplayer Matches: It is better to play multiplayer matches to practice the Manual Fire. Multiplayer matches are comparatively easier than Ranked matches. Multiplayer Matches include Domination, Hardpoint, TDM, Frontline, etc.

  3. Avoid Practicing Manual Fire in Search & Destroy matches: It’s better to avoid playing Search & Destroy matches if you are only practising Manual Fire. In Search & Destroy, you will need to wait for round completion if you’re dead. So, TDM, Domination, Hardpoint, and other modes in which you will recover instantly, are better for practising the Manual Fire.

These are some tips that I provide you to practice Manual Firing in COD Mobile. I got these tips from my 2 Years of Experience in this game.

The small maps such as Shipment, King, etc in COD Mobile are the best maps for practising manual fire.

What’s the Best Fire Button Location in COD Mobile:

If you’re customizing your Layout, and want to know the Best Fire button Location in COD Mobile. Well, it depends on your personal needs.

I recommend you place the Shoot button on the position which is easy to reach. In my case, the top-middle and slight left shoot button positions work best for me. As my index finger can easily reach this fire button position.

4-Finger Claw in Summit Map in Call Of Duty Mobile

You can place the fire button in different positions which are easy to reach. Then, play a game and find the best location for the fire button. However, some recommendations are:

  1. Top-middle and Slight left.

  2. Top-middle and Slight right.

  3. Bottom Left.

It’s also good to increase the size of the fire button because it increases its radius, which detects your finger touch on any corner of it you tap.

Conclusion:

Turning off an Auto Fire in Call of Duty Mobile is a good decision if you want to play it for a long time and want to become a professional player. Auto Fire is less accurate and isn't able to provide a complete fun of gaming.

You should switch to “Advanced Mode” to take full game control on your hand. Also, it’s better to customize the Layout of the buttons and set them to different positions that are suitable for the fingers. I am saying to use a 4-Fingers Claw that most professional players use.

If you are newly shifting from Auto Fire to Manual Fire, then you can practice on Multiplayer modes such as Domination, Hardpoint, TDM, etc. However, Shipment is the best map to practice Manual Firing.
