Final Fantasy XIV’s The Rising event is back in August

Time flies, especially when playing an MMORPG and seeing the patches and expansions follow one another. Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn is already celebrating its eighth year, and Square Enix invites you to celebrate this anniversary with the Feast of Commemoration event.

It's an emotional moment for many players and the development team usually plays with our heartstring with the story included in the dedicated questline. Especially those who have been around since the very beginning in 2010 should likely prepare to shed a tear or 10.

The relevant quest this time around is called Rising Calm. You'll get it from Kipih Jakkya in the Steps of Nald district of Ul'dah, Suburb of Nald at coordinates X: 10.0 - Y: 8.7.and you'll need to be level 15 to undertake the quest.

The seasonal event will start on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. and end on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 4:59 p.m

Seasonal Event Rewards

As a reward for your heroic actions, you will be able to leave with an umbrella bearing the effigy of the Dalamud meteor, as well as flower potpourri Lys de Nymeia firecrackers to light up the city of Ul'dah with a thousand lights.
