Perks are special traits that certain items have, giving boosts to different stats of weapons, armors, and general equipment and accessories. Perks add several bonuses to the characteristics of the character, determining their profile.

This means you can have items that fit with the style of your character in the best way possible.

There are 9 types of Perks:

  • Armor.

New World Perks and Rarity

New World Armor Perks world guides

  • Uncommon [Green] - 1 perk.

  • Epic [Purple] - 3 perks.

Crafting different armor types can gives you impressive perks to boost your stats

When you craft an item in New World, such as a New World heavy armor, you can use Azoth, a resource that increases the chance for Perks on crafted items.

You can use up to 75 Azoth per craft, depending on the tier of the item you are crafting. Azoth provides increases in intervals of 15. Each increase confers a high chance for one particular crafting slot. The highest chance is 75%.
