New World Mounts Guide - Rise of the Angry Earth Expansion

Who doesn't want to delve into the history of the world and try to live in the past? The New World game gives you a slice of the history of the 17th century. Isn't it exciting and thrilling to be able to live and experience a fictional world and interact on a daily basis? Well, this is based on a fictional island called Aeternum which you need to explore and (of course!) conquer which can turn out to be quite a ride. Here you can indulge in many things mainly crafting, trading, and fighting among many others.

The best and most anticipated feature in this game is the mount which we will be talking more below. These are animal companions with each having different traits and abilities which will help you travel across the island a lot more easily. The rise of angry earth expansion is what has introduced the mounts to us along with many amazing and great improvements and features as well.

How to Unlock Mounts in the New World?

New World has three kinds of mounts: horses, wolves, and lions. Each mount has its appearance, level, speed, and abilities. To unlock mounts, you need to complete certain quests and reach certain levels with your character and your previous mounts.

The first mount you can unlock is the horse, which is available at level 25. To get your horse, you need to go to Everfall and start the quest "Change of the Wild", which will appear as a horseshoe icon on your map. The quest will require you to visit Windkreis and talk to several NPCs, including a beast lord. After completing the quest, you will receive your first horse mount.

The second mount you can unlock is the wolf, which is available at level 45. Once you get to that level, you will be getting a new quest that would ask you to hunt some wolves, upon completing that you will get your very own wolf mount.

The third and final mount you can unlock is the lion, which is available at level 65. To get your lion, you need to level up your horse and wolf mounts and reach level 65 with your character. Then, you will receive a new quest called "The King of the Jungle", which will take you to Elysium Wilds and challenge you to face a legendary lion. After completing the quest, you will receive your lion mount.
