New World Season 2 brings to you a new quest named Secrets of the Sands. In this quest, you will have to find “Geysers”, the stone areas elevated from the ground that emit steam and volcanic gasses. What to do in Carry Rocks Quest in New World?
Just as the name suggests, you will have to find small boulders and pick them up. After that, you will have to come towards Geyser. In the game itself, these are vertical rocky mounts that are emitting steam.
By picking up the boulders and bringing them to the Geyser, you can simply block the steam passage. In this way, you will have to go from one Geyser to another (total 3). The problem here is that sometimes, you don’t find a passage to climb and go to the top of the Geyser.
After you are done blocking the Geyser passage, you will have to place the Word of Water in one area. This opens up the passage toward the Egg Chamber. Defeat the guardian and pick up the Egg to complete the quest.

How to Complete Secrets of the Sands Quest in New World Season 2
Basically, the Secrets of the Sands Quest itself will point out the Geyser. You will just have to go around that rocky area and find boulders/rocks. Pick those rocks up and carry them to the area of the Geyser. Press “E” to Pick those Rocks.
You will find a passage around that area through which you can climb the Geyser and put the boulder on top, blocking the passage. Again, you can press “E” to put the rock on the Geyser.
The hardest part of this secret of the Sands Quest is that you will have to find a way to reach the top of the Geyser. Our recommendation here is to simply Carry the Rocks and move around the Geyser in an anticlockwise manner.
After you went through 3 Geysers and blocked their steam path, you will have to Place the Word of Water. Just be careful because there is a beast that awakens and he is hella hard to defeat.
After you defeat him and Place the Word of Water, you can proceed to the Egg Chamber. The final step is to defeat the Egg Chamber Guardian and you will get the Mysterious Egg.
