WOTLK DPS Tier List: Start Giving Tons of Damage in Combats!

World of Warcraft is one of the most famous MMORPGs ever released. The game came alive in 2004 and reached enormous success. In 2014, the game reached more than a hundred million registered accounts. By 2007, WoW grossed more than 9 billion dollars in revenue. The game still receives plenty of support from Blizzard and has eight expansions already released, with the ninth about to come as well.

Among all of these expansions, World of Warcraft fans and critics would attest that Wrath of the Lich King is one of the best. Released in 2008, the expansion pack sold almost 3 million copies only on the first day. And now, the trending news that Wrath of the Lich King is coming to WoW Classic surely left all the fans excited. After all, we will all be able to travel back to Northrend and live some of the most memorable encounters again.

But with the big release, an (old) new doubt arises: which class should I play? Thinking about those undecided players, MMO PIxel prepared a guide pointing out the best DPS classes to use in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic.

From DPS Specs to Equipment Dependence: The Metrics to Establish the Tier List

You can play Wrath of the Lich King with several classes, and even choosing a class and creating a character can take from a few hours to more than one day. After all, you have an entire expansion of new information right ahead of you.

But no matter if you are just a casual player or extremely competitive, high damage meters is one of the things gamers will consider most. However, the damage output can’t be the only thing you take under consideration.

Some of the other factors directly related to damage you must consider are single target damage, cleave damage and AoE damage. Besides that, other important effects, such as buffs, which can give you a benefit, or debuffs, which do the contrary, are also significant. There’s also armor penetration and gear dependence. All of these factors interfere with the selection of the best DPS classes.

Wow Classic Wrath of the Lich King Best DPS Classes Divided by Tiers

Taking all of the important factors mentioned before under consideration, we divided some of the classes available in the Wrath of the lich King Classic. Here’s our DPS tier list.

Tier

Class Specialization

S Tier

Frost Death Knight, Unholy Death Knight, Fire Mage, Affliction Warlock, Marksmanship Hunter, and Feral Druid

A Tier

Assassination Rogue, Combat Rogue, Demonology Warlock, Survival Hunter

B Tier

Retribution Paladin, Enhancement Shaman, Arcane Mage, Fury Warrior

C Tier

Arms Warrior, Destruction Warlock, Elemental Shaman

D Tier

Beast Mastery Hunter, Frost Mage, Subtlety Rogue,

Now we have the classes divided into the tier list, we need to talk about them and justify the position each of them received.

S Tier DPS Classes

We begin with the top tier. Any class here will offer the players the best DPS Specs and have far more than the average of damage a normal DPS class gives in the game.

Frost Death Knights

One of the classes at the top of WotLK DPS rankings is the Frost Death Knight. They offer high and consistent damage right at the beginning of the game, in the earlier phases. This is important because most classes tend to suffer at this point, as they don’t have enough armor penetration, for instance.

These Death Knights also distinguish themselves for being easier than the unholy death knights. To complete, they have the improved icy talons, which give a buff on melee haste. Generally, melee classes like such things.

Howling Blast

Blasts the target with a frigid wind, dealing (82.5% of attack power) Frost damage to that foe, and (70.125% of attack power) Frost damage to all other enemies within 10 yards, infecting all targets with Frost Fever.

Frost Strike

Chills your weapons with icy power, and quickly strikes the enemy with both weapons, dealing a total of (560% of weapon damage) Frost damage.

Obliterate

A brutal attack with both weapons that deals a total of (456% + 456% of weapon damage) Physical damage.

Remorseless Winter

Drains the warmth of life from all nearby enemies, dealing (280.8% of attack power) Frost damage over 8 sec and reducing their movement speed by 50%.

Killing Machine

Your auto attack critical strikes have a chance to make your next Obliterate automatically critically strike.

Rime

Your Obliterate has a 45% chance and Frostscythe has a 22.5% chance to cause your next Howling Blast to consume no runes and deal 300% additional damage.

Unholy Death Knights

Their damage levels are very close to the Frost Death Knight. They also benefit from magical-based damage in the early stages, making them less dependent on armor penetration gear. Some players may find them harder to play compared to the Frost Death Knight class, but after you master them, you will deal even more damage.

Festering Strike

Deals (500% of weapon’s damage) physical damage and infects the target with 2 to 4 festering wounds

Scourge Strike

An Unholy strike that deals 125% physical damage and 65% shadow damage, and causes one festering wound

Outbreak

Deals (38% of attack power) Shadow damage and surrounds the target in a miasma lasting for 6 sec that causes the target and all nearby enemies to be infected with Virulent Plague.

Apocalypse

Bring doom upon the enemy, dealing (50% of Attack power)% Shadow damage and bursting up to 4 Festering Wounds on the target. Summons an Army of the Dead ghoul for 15 sec for each burst Festering Wound.

Raise Dead

Raises a ghoul to fight by your side. You can have a maximum of one ghoul at a time. Lasts 1 min.

Rime

Summons a legion of ghouls who swarms your enemies, fighting anything they can for 30 sec.

Fire Mages

Following the S tier classes, it is time to talk about the fire mages. This DPS class struggles in the early stages of the game as they need critical damage to increase their DPS spec. You will see that fire mages adapt easily, and since all types of DPS maters, they stand out, as they can give extremely high single target damage or AOE damage.

Name

Fire Ball

Throws a fiery ball that causes (65% of spell power) Fire damage.

Pyroblast

Hurls an immense fiery boulder that causes (136.3% of spell power) Fire damage.

Hot Streak

Getting two direct-damage critical strikes in a row will make your next Pyroblast or Flamestrike spell instant cast, and cause double the normal Ignite damage.

Phoenix’s Flames

Hurls a Phoenix that causes (389.4% of Spell power) Fire damage to the target and splashes (129.8% of Spell power) Fire damage to other nearby enemies. This damage is always a critical strike.

Dragon’s Breath

Enemies in a cone in front of you take (58.25% of spell power) Fire damage and are disoriented for 4 sec. Damage will cancel the effect.

Combustion

Increases your spells' critical strike chance by 100% and grants you Mastery equal to 50% your Critical Strike stat. Castable while casting other spells.

Feral Druids

The Feral Druid surely deserves a position on this rank as they are one of the out-and-out classes of the game. Feral Druids have great DPS meters, can be off-tank, and also provide many buffs and utilities. They will need more armor penetration, as they are physical damage dealers and have to go on without this important stat in the early stages. Nothing that a better gear doesn’t solve.

Name

Icon

Description

Shred

Shred the target, causing (46% of Attack power) Physical damage to the target.

Ferocious Bite

Finishing move that causes Physical damage per combo point and consumes up to 25 additional Energy to increase damage by up to 100%.

Rake

Rakes the target for (18.225% of Attack power) Bleed damage and an additional (77.805% of Attack power) Bleed damage over 15 sec.

Tiger’s Fury

Instantly restores 20 Energy and increases the damage of all your attacks by 15% for their full duration. Lasts 10 sec.

Prowl

Shifts into Cat Form and enters stealth.

Berserk

Goes berserk for 20 sec, causing Rake and Shred to deal damage as though you were stealthed, and giving finishing moves a 20% chance per combo point spent to refund 1 combo point.

Marksmanship Hunters

Marksmanship Hunter presents problems in the early stage. Their damage meters rely on armor penetration, so you will need better gear to make them work, which may take time. But, after you are equipped, they prove to be a top DPS class. They have sustainable ranged damage, making them perfect for short fights or even for longer fights as well.

Name

Steady Shot

A steady shot that causes (60% of Attack power) Physical damage.

Arcane Shot

A quick shot that causes (57% of Attack power) Arcane damage.

Aimed Shot

Rapid Fire

Shoot a stream of 7 shots at your target over 2 sec, dealing a total of (242% of Attack Power) Physical damage.

Lone Wolf

Increases your damage by 10% when you do not have an active pet.

Trick Shots

When Multi-Shot hits 3 or more targets, your next Aimed Shot or Rapid Fire will ricochet and hit up to 5 additional targets for 55% of normal damage.

Affliction Warlock

The last S-tier class is the Affliction Warlock. This is the strongest of all warlock classes and distinguishes itself for the damage over time it applies to enemies with their skills. When they get to the execute phase, new abilities, such as Drain Soul and Death’s Embrace help them deal lots of bonus damage. All of this would be enough to bring Affliction Warlocks to the top of the classic WoW Wrath of the Lich King tier list.

Name

Corruption

Corrupts the target, causing (91% of spell power) Shadow damage over 14 sec.

Agony

Unstable Affliction

Afflicts one target with (184% of spell power) Shadow damage over 16 sec.

Seed of Corruption

Embeds a demon seed in the enemy target that will explode after 18 sec, dealing (215% of spell power) Shadow damage to all enemies within 10 yards and applying Corruption to them.

Summon Darkglare

Summons a Darkglare from the Twisting Nether that extends the duration of your damage over time effects on all enemies by 8 sec.

A Tier Classes

Going one tier down on our WotLK DPS rankings, we have other classes to analyze. These are not as good as those with S rank but are still pretty strong and will have high DPS charts.

Assassination Rogues

We begin with a strong class but with some peculiarities. Assassination Rogues does well throughout the expansion. They tend to go well in the early phases because we have shorter fights compared to the available time combat takes. A Good assassination rogue will look for scaling with items and gear and will avoid long combat.

Name

Mutilate

Attacks with both weapons, dealing a total of (52.5% of Attack power) Physical damage.

Garrote

Garrotes the enemy, causing (108% of Attack power) Bleed damage over 18 sec.

Rupture

Finishing move that tears open the target, dealing Bleed damage over time. Lasts longer per combo point.

Fan of Knives

Sprays knives at all enemies within 10 yards, dealing (24.6% of Attack power) Physical damage and applying your active poisons at their normal rate. Deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets.

Envenom

Finishing move that drives your poisoned blades in deep, dealing instant Nature damage and increasing your poison application chance by 30%. Damage and duration increased per combo point.

Vendetta

Marks an enemy for death for 20 sec, increasing the damage your abilities and auto attacks deal to the target by 30%, and making the target visible to you even through concealments such as stealth and invisibility.

Combat Rogues

On a general evaluation, the Combat Rogue is ahead of the assassination, but the difference isn’t big enough to justify a difference in tier lists. Apart from being stronger to deserve the A ranking (close to an S), combat rogues are fun to play, especially if you can unite a Combat Rogue with a DK, coordinating their skills.

Name

Description

Sinister Strike

Viciously strikes an enemy, causing (21.762% of Attack power) Physical damage.

Ambush

Ambushes the target, causing (95.472% of Attack power) Physical damage.

Pistol Shot

Blade Furry

While active, your melee attacks also strikes all nearby enemies for 30% of normal damage, but your Energy regeneration is reduced by 20%. Lasts until canceled.

Dispatch

Finishing move that dispatches the enemy, dealing damage per combo point:
1 point: (142% of AP) damage
2 points: (284% of AP) damage
3 points: (426% of AP) damage
4 points: (568% of AP) damage
5 points: (710% of AP) damage

Roll of the Bones

Finishing move that rolls the dice of fate, providing a random combat enhancement. Lasts longer per combo point:
  1 point: 12 seconds
  2 points: 18 seconds
  3 points: 24 seconds
  4 points: 30 seconds
  5 points: 36 seconds

Demonology Warlock

The Demonology Warlocks fall a little behind the Affliction Warlocks when it comes to long and single-target combat. But the Metamorphosis ability ensures significant AoE damage, making the class stand out. Demonology Warlocks have some interesting buffs and set bonuses for spell casting classes in the party, which is also very helpful.

Name

Shadow Bolt

Sends a shadowy bolt at the enemy, causing (39% of Spell power) Shadow damage.

Hand of Gul’Dan

Calls down a demonic meteor full of Wild Imps which burst forth to attack the target for 12 sec.

Summon Felguard

Summons a Felguard under your command as a powerful melee combatant.

Call Dreadstalkers

Summons 2 ferocious Dreadstalkers to attack the target for 12-sec

Implosion

Demonic forces suck all of your Wild Imps toward the target and then cause them to violently explode, dealing (230% of spell power) Shadowflame damage to all enemies within 8 yards.

Summon Demonic Tyrant

Summon a Demonic Tyrant to increase the duration of all of your current demons by 15.0 sec, and increase the damage of all of your other demons by 15% while damaging your target.

Survival Hunter

Differently from other classes on these DPS rankings, Survival Hunters don’t suffer from a lack of penetration at the beginning of the expansion, which means they start with great stats. They have great single-target and AoE damage. But, as you advance throughout the expansion, you will see that several other classes scale better with gear, weapons, and other items. Another problem of the class is the lack of utility. So don’t expect a new ability of spell power buff or anything like it.

Name

Description

Raport Strike

Kill Command

Gives the command to kill, causing your pet to savagely deal [(112% of Attack power) * (1 + Versatility)] Physical damage to its target.

Coordinate Assault

You and your pet attack as one, increasing all damage you both deal by 20% for 20 sec.
While Coordinated Assault is active, Kill Command's chance to reset is increased by 25%

B-Tier Classes

Now, we go one step down in our DPS rankings and get to the intermediary classes. From now, players may feel a bigger change in terms of damage and other stats. Mainly when we compare to those put in the S-tier. But this doesn’t mean you can’t start changing the course of any combat with the ranged or melee DPS these classes can give.

Retribution Paladins

We begin with the Retribution Paladins. This spec brings high cleave damage potential, which is the best thing they can do in terms of DPS. Mind that their single-target damage isn’t the best, mainly when considering other specs listed on this tier list for Wrath of the Lich King. Besides that, Retribution Paladin is the only DPS Spec among paladins. These paladins distinguish themselves for the immense utility they bring to a party. They have a list of great utilities they share with some other classes.

Name

Icon

Description

Crusader Strike

Strike the target for (76% of Attack power) Physical damage.

Templar’s Verdict

Unleashes a powerful weapon strike that deals (194% of Attack power) Holy damage to an enemy target.

Blade of Justice

Pierces an enemy with a blade of light, dealing (145% of Attack power) Physical damage.

Divine Storm

Unleashes a whirl of divine energy, dealing (134% of Attack power) Holy damage to up to 5 nearby enemies.

Shield of Vengeance

Creates a barrier of holy light that absorbs [(30% of Total health) * (1 + Versatility)] damage for 15 sec.

Wake of Ashes

Lashes out at your enemies, dealing (315% of Attack power) Radiant damage to all enemies within 12 yd in front of you and reducing their movement speed by 50% for 5 sec. Damage reduced on secondary targets.

Enhancement Shamans

This class has great potential for DPS damage. The problem is that Enhancement Shaman is hard to use and master when compared to some specs in the tier list. So, we could say that the best Enhancement Shaman would take the class to an S-tier and is the kind of partner you want in a boss fight. A bad one could drop them to D or C-tier. Their skill rotation and ceiling are not simple to manage but increase the spec potential considerably.

They have Unleashed Rage, which they share with Marksmanship Hunters and Blood DKs. Besides that, they have a set of shaman totems and other utilities that will make your Wrath of the Lich King journey dar easier. If you like a challenge, this will be a fun class.

Arcane Mage

Generally, Arcane Mages are Fire Mages who want to avoid the complicated early stages they would have if they had gone through the fire way from the very beginning. Arcane Mages gain spell hits very early on classic WoTLK, which gives them good early damage. After that, this mage doesn’t scale as much as some specs.

They are easy to understand and master, though. Besides that, you have good utility with Arcane Empowerment, which you share with Beast Mastery Hunters and Retribution Paladins. A good Arcane Mage will prefer to go for small single-target fights.

Name

Icon

Description

Arcane Blast

Blasts the target with energy, dealing (55% of spell power) Arcane damage.

Each Arcane Charge increases damage by 60% and mana cost by 100%, and reduces cast time by 8%.

Arcane Barrage

Launches bolts of arcane energy at the enemy target, causing (72.8% of Spell power) Arcane damage.

For each Arcane Charge, deals 30% additional damage.

Arcane Missiles

Launches five waves of Arcane Missiles at the enemy over 2.5 sec, causing a total of (218.7% of Spell power) Arcane damage.

Evocation

Increases your mana regeneration by 750% for 6 sec.

Arcane Power

For 10 / 15 sec you deal 30% more spell damage.

Touch of the Magi

Applies Touch of the Magi to your current target, accumulating 25% of the damage you deal to the target for 8 sec, and then exploding for that amount of Arcane damage to the target and reduces damage to all nearby enemies.

Fury Warriors

Following, we get to the Fury Warrior. The class has good overall damage. The main problem Fury Warriors face is lack of damage and attack power in the early stages of Wrath Classic, which will give problems in most fights.

After some scale and weapon gathering, a Fury Warrior will be great for many fights. Their single-target damage and cleave damage are significant. On the other hand, their AoE damage isn’t the best thing to rely on.

Name

Icon

Description

Bloodthirst

Assaults the target in a bloodthirsty craze, dealing (68% of Attack power) Physical damage and restoring 5% of your health.

Enrage

Becoming Enraged increases your damage done by 11%.

Titan’s Grip

Allows you to dual-wield a pair of two-handed weapons.

Rampage

Enrages you and unleashes a series of 4 brutal strikes for a total of (264% of Attack power) Physical damage.

Enraged Regeneration

Reduces damage taken by 30%, and Bloodthirst restores an additional 20% health. Usable while stunned. Lasts 8 sec.

Recklessness

Goes berserk, increasing all Rage generation by 100% and granting your abilities 20% increased critical strike chance for 10 sec.

Shadow Priests

This class suffered from a lack of damage but received some buffs, and some problems Shadow Priests faced in the early days of Classic WoW have passed. Abilities such as Vampiric Touch helped a lot. Now, users have a class that doesn’t impress in terms of AoE and Cleave damage but does great in terms of single-target.

Name

Icon

Description

Shadow Word: Pain

A word of darkness that causes (12.92% of Spell power) Shadow damage instantly, and an additional (57.528% of Spell power) Shadow damage over 12 sec.

Mind Blast

Blasts the target's mind for (97.92% of spell power) Shadow damage.

MInd Flay

Assaults the target's mind with Shadow energy, causing (128.4% of spell power) Shadow damage over 4.5 sec and slowing their movement speed by 50%.

Shadowform

Assume a Shadowform, increasing your spell damage dealt by 10%.

Void Eruption

Releases an explosive blast of pure void energy, activating Voidform and causing (129.2% of spell power) Shadow damage to all enemies within 10 yds of your target.

Voidform

Activated by casting Void Eruption. Twists your Shadowform with the powers of the Void, increasing spell damage you deal by 20%, granting an additional charge of Mind Blast, and refreshing Mind Blast's cooldown.

C-Tier Specs

Leaving the middle of the pack, we start to get to those classes that present worse values in terms of DPS. A spec on this tier is far from the top-notch, such as Frost DKs, for example, but still pretty good for other things in the Wrath Classic expansion, so use their power the right way. Competitive players may prefer to go for one of the specs listed above.

Arms Warriors

If we were talking about a raid tier, this class would have a better position. Arms Warriors are useful not because of Single-Target or AoE damage but because of the number of buffs and debuffs they can apply and their two target cleave damage, which is good but not incredible.

They suffer at the beginning of the Wrath Classic expansion and are easily outperformed later, giving no real compensation in terms of DPS. Some of the valuable skills they can use to help stronger specs are

Name

Icon

Description

Mortal Strikes

A vicious strike that deals (439% of weapon damage) Physical damage and reduces the effectiveness of healing on the target for 10 sec.

Overpower

Overpower the enemy, dealing (70% of Attack power) Physical damage. Cannot be blocked, dodged, or parried.

Colossus Smash

Smashes the enemy's armor, dealing (150% of Attack power) Physical damage, and increasing damage you deal to them by 30% for 10 sec.

Sweeping Strikes

For 12 sec your single-target damaging abilities hit 1 additional target within 8 yds for 75% damage.

Die by the Sword

Increases your parry chance by 100% and reduces all damage you take by 30% for 8 sec.

Bladestorm

Become an unstoppable storm of destructive force, striking all targets within 8 yards for (1099% of weapon damage) Physical damage over 6 sec.

Elemental Shaman

The class has balanced stats when it comes to DPS damage. But the biggest problem they present during the gameplay is that they don’t excel in pretty much anything. These Shamans have a moderate number of single-target, AoE, and Cleave damage. They don’t suffer as some specs do during the beginning of WotLK expansion, at least. This class is more recommended to experienced players, who will know how to perform better even with the flaws they present.

Name

Description

Lightning Bolt

Hurls a bolt of lightning at the target, dealing (95% of Spell power) Nature damage.

Earth Shock

Instantly shocks the target with concussive force, causing (210% of spell power) Nature damage.

Lava Burst

Hurls molten lava at the target, dealing (108% of spell power) Fire damage.

Fire Elemental

Calls forth a Greater Fire Elemental to rain destruction on your enemies for 30 sec. While the Fire Elemental is active, Flame Shock deals damage 25% faster.

Earthquake

Causes the earth within 8 yards of the target location to tremble and break, dealing (300% of spell power) Physical damage over 6 sec and sometimes knocking down enemies.

Thunderstorm

Calls down a bolt of lightning, dealing (41.79% of spell power) Nature damage to all enemies within 10 yards, reducing their movement speed by 40% for 5 sec, and knocking them away from the Shaman. Usable while stunned.

D Tier Classes

We finally get to the last step, to present the specs with the lowest damage in the WotLK Expansion. Each spec we are about to show has big flaws in terms of damage and is extremely conditional in any fight. You can go for any of them and see that they may present other qualities that will make the gameplay fun.

Beast Mastery Hunters

We begin with the Beast Mastery Hunter. The worst thing about this spec is that the damage they have is extremely dependent on their pet. If it dies, your damage disappears. Besides that, you shouldn’t expect anything special in terms of AoE, single-target, or Cleave damage. This is the worst spec among all hunters. Still, they have some skills that can help a party with some utility.

Name

Icon

Description

Kill Command

Gives the command to kill, causing your pet to savagely deal [(112% of Attack power) * (1 + Versatility)] Physical damage to its target.

Barbed Shot

Fires a shot that tears through your enemy, causing them to bleed for (108% of Attack Power) damage over 8 sec.

Sends your pet into a frenzy, increasing attack speed by 30% for 8 sec, stacking up to 3 times.

Cobra Shot

A quick shot causing [(73.7% of Attack power) * ((min(Level - 1, 19) * 12 + 112) / 340)] Physical damage.

Bestial Wrath

Sends you and your pet into a rage, instantly dealing [(65% of Attack power) *(1 + Versatility)] Physical damage to its target, and increasing all damage you both deal by 25% for 15 sec.

Kindred Spirits

Increases your maximum Focus and your pet's maximum Focus by 20.

Exotic Beasts

You master the art of beast training, teaching you the ability to tame Exotic pets.

Frost Mages

Following in the worst tier, we have the Frost Mages. This class is only useful in PvP situations and it would not be absurd to say they have the worst damage in the entire Wrath of the Lich King Expansion. Some could say the class offers some interesting buffs, which is true. But the thing is that several specs can offer the same buffs and give more damage as well, so there is practically no reason to go for Frost Mages.

Name

Icon

Description

Frostbolt

Launches a bolt of frost at the enemy, causing (51.1% of Spell power) Frost damage and slowing movement speed by 50% for 8 sec.

Ice Lance

Quickly flings a shard of ice at the target, dealing (37.8% of spell power) Frost damage.

Summon Water Elemental

Summons a Water Elemental to follow and fight for you.

Fingers of Frost

Frostbolt has a 15% chance and Frozen Orb damage has a 10% to grant a charge of Fingers of Frost.

Flurry

Unleashes a flurry of ice, striking the target 3 times for a total of [(31.6% of Spell power) * 3] Frost damage. Each hit reduces the target's movement speed by 70% for 1 sec.

Frozen Orb

Launches an orb of swirling ice up to 40 yards forward which deals up to (325.4% of spell power) Frost damage to 8 enemies it passes through. Grants 1 charge of Fingers of Frost when it first damages an enemy.

Subtlety Rogue

And we finally get to the end of the list with the Subtlety Rogues. This class is only useful in PvP situations, and we hardly recommend it in any other condition. SubtletyRogues offer buffs that, once again, are not good, and only when we consider the other possible rogues.

They have Hemorrhage skill, that is unique. Besides that, they have Tricks of the Trade, which all the other rogues have as well. Once again, this is a very situational spec, so go for something else if you want to deal DPS damage.

Name

Icon

Description

Eviscerate

Finishing move that disembowels the target, causing damage per combo point.

Shadowstrike

Strike the target, dealing (87.35% of Attack power) Physical damage.

Backstab

Stab the target, causing X Physical damage. Damage increased by 20% when you are behind your target.

Shuriken Storm

Sprays shurikens at all targets within 10 yards, dealing (72.15% of attack power) Physical damage.

Shadow Dance

Allows use of all Stealth abilities and grants all the combat benefits of Stealth for 4 sec. Effect not broken from taking damage or attacking.

Symbols of Death

Invoke ancient symbols of power, generating 40 Energy and increasing your damage done by 15% for 10 seconds.

Summary

In World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, different classes can fill the role of DPS. While some classes are better than others at DPS, the reality is that any class can be viable if played well. However, some classes are definitely better suited for DPS than others.

We hope that our list has provided you with a snapshot of the current state of balance among the classes and helped you choose a main or alt (secondary character) based on your desired playstyle. Thanks for reading!
