WoW Classic: Season of Discovery focuses on combat, too, and for that, we need Armor! Silk cloth is one of the items that helps with that. There are various other uses of silk cloth, too; in this guide, we will tell you the best ways to farm silk cloth, strengthen your character, and tailor bandages and other stuff.

Humanoids

This specific type of cloth is dropped by mid-level humanoids, Undead and centaurs are among those. The cloth is also used for making silk bandages and heavy silk bandages.

Alterac Mountains

It is dropped by syndicate mobs, near the shore of Lake Lordamere in the northeastern part of alterac. The second-largest lake in the Eastern Kingdoms, Lordamere Lake is only surpassed by Darrowmere Lake to the east. Lordamere, like Darrowmere, has been impacted by numerous surrounding events. Around the lake's edges and in the neighboring mountains, such as Lordaeron, Dalaran, and Alterac, are numerous rich Human Kingdoms that existed during the Alliance of Lordaeron's reign.

Wetlands

In this location along the shoreline of the wetlands, you have to find a ship (the lost fleet) and kill the sailor mobs that are part of that ship. However, the respawn rate of the mob is insanely high because they are a part of the quest. The mobs drop silver and raw gold and occasionally drop silk cloth too. Due to the high respawn rate, the mob might attack you repeatedly therefore tread carefully.

Thousand needles

Kill the centaur mobs present at the spot (in the picture below, spot marked with red) in a thousand needles. The respawn rate of these mobs is also insanely high and the more you kill them the more they will respawn. However, they are weak too, so they die fairly quickly due to low health and low armor. The population of the mob is really good therefore more chance of attaining resources.

Both horde and alliance and farm from this location and due to the high density of the mob, it doesn’t matter if you have competition or not. They also drop wool along with silk. This spot is particularly good for mining as well, one second, you’re killing the mob, and iron vein spawns on the location and iron is the most important ore in the game so that’s another plus point.

The silk farming in the Thousand Needles isn’t limited to this spot only. Go to coordinates 31,37 on the map, and you will be farming the grim totem tribe of Toren. They drop silk cloth as well as some greens. You have to follow the bridges to reach your location, the navigation is pretty easy.

Ashenvale

So, you are gonna be farming Warsong Lumber Camp in Ashenvale. The camp provided lumber to the Horde military machine during the Fourth military. The region served as a battleground for the Alliance and Horde, as Illiyana and her sisters used nature magic to take down shredders.

Warsong Lumber Camp provides a constant supply of materials that maintain the walls and populace of the nearby Splintertree Post elevated. Compared to the other camp, it is far bigger and serves multiple small villages. There are several Warsong Shredders strewn about the camp, both living and dead.

Badlands

The Searing Gorge to the west and Loch Modan to the north provide access to the Badlands area of Khaz Modan. The Badlands consist of meandering canyons, strewn rocks, and a cracked desert of dry earth. Motivated by the recently discovered Uldaman, prospectors from Ironforge scour this barren area for Titan relics.

Ruins that formerly belonged to the ancient earthen people, can be found in the northernmost parts of this untamed area. Uldaman is the name of these remains. You have to clear the mobs outside the cave that leads to Uldaman and then head inside to get rid of Dwarves and Troggs, they drop a substantial amount of silk cloth.

Dustwallow Marsh

Another good site is Blackhoof Village in Dustwallow Marsh. You can continue sprinting from one end of the camp to the other and farming Silk Cloth because the enemies drop one to three pieces of the material and respawn quickly.

Scarlet Monastery

And the last but not least is Scarlet Monastery, this is the place to go to if you want to farm silk cloth in bulk. It’s a high-level dungeon which is found in the corner of Tirisfal Glades, this is one of the places that players are most excited about. The dungeon has four different wings, a graveyard, a library, a cathedral, and an Armory.

So, you can find silk in this region by killing the mob in the graveyard, if you are leveled up accordingly, getting rid of them is fairly easy.

Dun Morogh

Gnomeregan is a dungeon west of Ironforge in Dun Morogh. Gnomeregan's entrance is found in Dun Morogh, northwest of Brenwall Village. The irradiated, green troggs you encounter as soon as you enter the city will let you know you've found it.

After entering the lift at Dun Morogh, take the tunnel until it opens up into a vast area. Follow this new tunnel along the left wall until you reach the entrance. However, the farmed silk cloth is half of what you get at the scarlet monastery, but it is nonetheless a convenient location if you are desperate.

Conclusion

Farming silk cloth is one of the most tedious tasks in the WoW Classic: Season of Discovery; however, knowing the proper locations will provide you with an ace up your sleeve. What other locations do you think yield a good amount of silk cloth?
