WoW Classic SoD Phase 3 Guide to Pre-Questing

Preparing your in-game character for Phase 3 of WoW SoD through Pre-Questing is a strategic move. By engaging in Phase 3 Pre-Questing, you can swiftly advance your character's level 1 and 2 once Phase 3 commences. This approach effectively circumvents player competition and PvP conflicts in certain zones, granting you a leading edge in reaching level 50. In this article, we will be laying out the route for Pre-Questing that you can follow to reach a higher level and be ready for WoW Classic SoD Phase 3.

Pre-Questing in SoD Phase 3

Pre-questing in the Season of Discovery's Phase 3 involves completing quests from Phase 2 but holding off on handing them in. Also, gather the necessary starter items for quests but refrain from accepting the quests until Phase 3 begins. This enables you to amass over 20 quests in readiness. Upon the launch of Phase 3 in WoW SoD, you'll submit all the quests and advance to level 41 or 42 without engaging in combat. This is an efficient method to be ready for Phase 3, but it has its own Pros and Cons, let's discuss them as well.

The main thing to prepare before starting pre-questing is having enough stock of Gold, the in-game currency of WoW SoD. You will required to spend gold while completing quests. So make sure you have enough stock of the same. If you are falling short of gold, get it for real money from reputed and trusted seller MMOPixel.

Pre-Questing Benefits

Getting ahead of the competition is the major advantage. Once Phase 3 launches, completing quests requiring enemy kills will become notably challenging due to the high player traffic in all areas. By pre-questing, you can reach level 41 or 42. Moreover, you can commence Zul'Farrak grinding sooner.

 Pre-Questing's Drawbacks

The disadvantage of this method for Phase 3 is that you forfeit experience points earned from completing mandatory pre-quests and killing mobs. However, considering the inability to level up during the initial days after Phase 3's launch, owing to intense competition from players of both factions, this drawback is somewhat alleviated for your primary character.

SoD Phase 3: Pre-Quest Routes

Before the start of WoW Classic SoD Phase 3, you can utilize this prequest route to ready your characters. Furthermore, keeping your previous Gnomeregan ID reserved will enable you to participate in the raid once you've finished the pre-quest route on Phase 3 launch day. This strategy aims to elevate your character's level to around 41 or even nearing level 42.

Please note that this prequest route contains some of the quests that you might have already completed. If that's the case, skip them.

In Stranglethorn Vale

During the start of Phase 3, moving into Stranglethorn Vale (STV) is the way to go. For a smooth transition, position your character in Stranglethorn Vale by Phase 2's end. Alliance members settle in the Rebel Camp, while Horde counterparts start at Nesingwary's Camp. Ensure the below mentioned quests are in your log:

  • Complete Quests Troll Witchery and Kurzen's Mystery at the Rebel Camp from Brother Nimetz in order to unlock Mai'Zoth.

  • Unlock Quest Big Game Hunter by finishing the chain of quests for Raptor Mastery, Tiger Mastery, and Panther Mastery. If you've tackled two of Raptor Mastery, Tiger Mastery, and Panther Mastery, finish the remaining one and get ready for Big Game Hunter.

  • You might be tempted to complete another quest known as The Green Hills in order to get your hands on some pages before Phase 3. Keep in mind that you can get these pages from random Drops in STV. So, it is not advisable to go with this quest. If you still have some pages not in your collection, buy them from the Auction.

  • For Horde players, kick off with Mok'thardin's Enchantment, the fourth step from Far Seer Mok'thardin located in Grom'gol.

These are some of the important quests. If you think we miss anything do let us know in the comments. We are still refining this article with all the information that we have.
