Getting To Tristram

As much as you would like to travel to Tristram through in-game paths of the sanctuary, visiting places all around the world, however there is no direct path to reach the Tristram. This is because of the location where Tristran is located. Tristan is in the Western Continent of Diablo 4’s Sanctuary. It is located in the Khanduras, but why is that a problem you might ask. The problem is that the Eastern continent is the setting for Diablo 4’s gameplay.  

So, you see there can’t be a direct route to travel to the Tristram. But there is a way to reach the location directly. There is an in-game Quest called the Shroud of the Horadrim that can open a teleportation portal that can take you directly to the Tristram. The best part of this is that you don’t have to complete the quest, but just travel to the mid-way. The teleportation can be done when you are mid-way into the game. Once there you will see a Bloodied Wolf. This wolf will be right next to a portal. When you have a conversation with it, it will tell you to follow the portal to escape the illusion that you are in right now.

Getting To Tristram Through Quest

When you enter the portal it will teleport you directly to a place called Vision of Tristram. According to the Bloodied Wolf, Vision of Tristram is a safe place where you won’t be attacked by anyone. The Bloodied wolf is the one who you will be following for a while now. He will reveal that he saved you in the mountains at the beginning of the quest. He would also reveal his reasons for helping you.

The Bloodied Wolf also wants to defeat Lilith and stop her from accomplishing her goals. So keep talking to him and engage him in a conversation to understand the story better. The Bloodied Wolf believes that in order to stop Lilith, following Horadrim is not a great option.He will move to the Living Gate and you have to follow him there when he opens the gate.

Once you follow him to the other side of the gate, a new portal will open up to take you to a destroyed town. This is your destination. The town in front of you was destroyed a long time ago and all that remains now is ruins. The destruction took place in the gameplay of the Diablo 2 game. The Bloodied Wolf would tell you that he is waiting for a day when Horadrim messes up all the things and he is not expecting you to be there when it takes place.

The conversation between the two of you will be continued through the Dialogue prompts appearing on the game screen. You will be told that the town you are witnessing now is the town known as Tristram. The Bloodied Wolf will tell you the fate of the Diablo who was imprisoned by the Horadrim who was buried near this town. The town was built after burying the Diablo. We can see how that idea worked out for them, he continues, grinning. 

Reaching The End & Continuing The Quest

When this is all over you will have to get back to the portals to continue the quest that you have been doing. Tristram is now just a tragic memory for you which you need to forget and move on. It’s important from the gaming point of view as the quest and story progresses through it. You won’t find anything valuable like the Diablo 4 Gold, here in the ruins.
