The Bard is a subclass from the Mage main class, and their powers and abilities come from their harp. The Lost Ark Bard class does not deal damage in great amount and its attack power is not so big.

You won’t blow your enemies but will help your DPS to inflict lots of pain from a long distance. That way, you won't be with heavy armor tanking or dealing tons of damage. The Lost Ark Bard works better as a dedicated support class.

Desperate Salvation - gives an additional effect after a recovery effect ends, recovering Max HP.

Bard Tripods

Each skill you have in-game needs a specific level to be unlocked, but it also has its own level. That means it grows and becomes stronger as much as you use it. This level increase grants you tripods to equip and “refine” them. These tripods grant the skills extra characteristics, making them stronger. Your skill must hit level 10 to have all three tripod slots.

They will change your skills, sometimes increasing your abilities radius, amplifying damages or buffs. Some useful tripods are Concentrated Fire, Melody Increase, Death Amplification, Harmony Enhancement, and Powerful Overture.

They all have specific characteristics. Melody Increase, for instance, amplify your chord energy, but there are plenty of other changes. Some of them can be a recovery effect, crit rate increase, heal, extra damage, and more.

Lost Ark Bard Abilities Explained

As a bard, you will have an entire set of skills as your levels grow. Remember, as a Lost Ark Bard is a support class, you have less attack power, inflicting less magical damage, and your abilities will reflect that. Note that, all the skills will be displayed in level one, with no effects of tripods, runes, or Lost Ark Bard Engravings. Your bard skills are divided into Identity Skills, Normal Skills, and Awakening Skills.

Identity Skill

An identity skill is an ability exclusive to each class of the game. That way, the bard’s identity skill is the technique directly related to the class, that no one other can use. It generally is charged by killing enemies. Bards can use two different Identity Skills, they are the Serenade of Courage and the Serenade of Salvation.

The skills charge in the form of Serenade Bubbles or Bars, depending on what you prefer to call. A Bards’ serenade consumes these bars. One serenade costs one bar, and you can stack up to three bars. These are some of the most important abilities of the class, and the best bard is always using special serenade songs for itself or the party.

Remember that bards generally focus on protecting the party, it may be hard to accumulate your bars, as you need to hit and kill enemies. So you should always prepare yourself for hard combat with your party, farming the bars before facing bosses and other hard enemies. That’s how the best bard takes advantage of their skills.

Use bubbles to restore party members HP 4/6/8% for 8/12/16 times. The duration is 14/18/24s, depending on the number of bubbles spent.

Skill Cooldown: 25 seconds

Use your bubbles to increase your and your party's outgoing damage. Your outgoing damage is increased by 15% for 120 seconds, regardless of the number of bubbles spent. Your party members in a 24-meter small radius will deal +5/10/15% for 8/12/16 seconds, depending on the number of bubbles spent. When the recovery effect ends, you recover 24% of your max HP.

Awakening Skills

An awakening skill is the ultimate technique of your character. They have the greatest potential of changing the battlefield, turning any fight. An awakening Skill is extremely strong but also has long cooldowns, so you must think strategically before using them. You can use them only on level 50. As a support class, one of the bard techniques focuses on buffs and debuffs. The other gives and amplifies other damages.

Symphonia

This skill is complete and gives everything your party will need in battle. It buffs your companions and applies huge debuffs in your foes. You rise to the air singing with the angels. The angelical performance grants every ally in 12 meters a shield that absorbs damage equal to 100% of your Max HP for 10 seconds. The skill also causes damage and a lot of debuffs that last for 10 seconds. They are

This skill intends to help the party to kill the foes. You rise to sing with the angels in a heavenly performance. Besides bonuses, what they give you is a huge explosion of holy damage, hurting enemies and decreasing their crit resistance by 12%.

Besides Bard’s Identity Skill set, there are plenty of normal skills that the bard class gains as the levels grow. These skills generally have a smaller cooldown and varied effects.

Sound Wave	8	10	Through your magical powers, you will summon a beautiful melody. This attack of beauty and pain inflicts damage. It will also push foes away.
Stigma	16	10	Cast a brilliant stigma at a target location. Your stigma lasts for 4 seconds and attacks nearby foes.
Conviction Core	20	10	A skill intended to protect. You will summon cores to keep you safe against enemies. These cores explode if a foe gets within 4 meters. It deals damage.
Rhapsody of Light	24	10	Spell channeling will be canceled if you move. While standing still, cast beautiful sound waves at the target location. They will deal Damage 3 times, with 1.5 seconds between each other.
Wind of Music	18	12	Cast a skill that damages more than once. You invoke a fierce wind that, first, causes damage, pushing foes. Then, it spread wide. Enemies within a 1-meter radius will suffer as well.
Sonic Vibration	24	14	You use your powers to lift enemies through pure music. You will be throwing them to a target location, knocking foes. The skill will deal damage in the lifting and slam. This skill’s melody lingers for 3 seconds.
Rhythmic Buckshot	16	16	The harp sound will send a musical note that causes damage and knocks foes away.
Soundholic	24	18	The power of your song creates a blinding ray that causes damage 10 times, every 0.3 seconds all along during three seconds. After slaying your target, you can change the direction of your light ray. Moving cancels the casting.
Prelude of Storm	16	20	You all forth a storm through your powerful tune. It deals damage and stuns foes. The stun duration is 3 seconds.
Heavenly Tune	30.	24	A complete skill that causes damage, increases party members’ within a 24-meter radius attack speed by 3.5%. Your skill also boosts their MP regen by 12% for 8s.
Note Bundle	12	28	Through your power, you will be summoning musical notes. They may travel at a low speed but also cause a move speed reduction of 40%. This guided musical note can hit the same foe up to 84 times.
Prelude of Death	24	32	Attack nearby foes that hear the prelude of death suffer causing damage twice. The skill will also be inflicting Death’s End, a debuff that expires after 3s and causes damage again. For each stack of Death’s End, the enemy suffers 20% to up 40% of move speed slow and 50% more damage.
Harp of Rhythm	24	36	Summons a giant harp with its own will. After summoning this new partner, the harp shoots musical notes, causing damage to enemies in a 14-meter radius.
March	20	40	Your music notes now hunt your target. They will follow it, causing damage and movement speed slow of 50% for 2s.
