Lost Ark Chaos Dungeon - What Is It?

Chaos Dungeons are part of the endgame activities you can do in Lost Ark once you reach level 50. This is a multiple-floor space with monsters that you need to defeat. You can enter a Chaos Dungeon alone or with up to four players. 

For your first Chaos Dungeon – and all of the rest – you are tasked with slaying all the enemies to fill a progress gauge within a five-minute interval. Once you do that, a portal opens and you can go to the next Chaos Dungeon run. If you can’t make it on time, you’re out of the event.

• Zone 3: Break the Rift Core Crystals. This will make enemies spawn so you can fight them. Repeat occasionally until you clear the event.

• When a portal opens, if it’s a gold portal instead of blue, you’ll reach a bonus zone where a phantasmal enemy will spawn. Hurt it or kill it; it will drop different currencies that you can exchange for items when you’re back in town.

• Defeat minibosses and break Rift Cores to drop Fighting Spirit Ether. Grab it to increase stats like attack speed, movement speed, or cooldowns.

• The blue orbs near the area give you a temporary movement speed buff that you can use.

• AOE attacks are the best for crowd control, especially when you don’t have multiple characters helping you out.
